it's par for the course but you're right, that was the first time I actually heard someone apologize for pretending that the Raptors dont exist. I cant recall but Im pretty sure that even when they won the championship they spent more time interviewing the GSW and what their offseason plans were then talking to the Raptors and about their season.

It's just typical of American sports media to never talk about the Raptors even when they succeed. Like fr the Raptors just won against the Magic and yet these people only talk about how the Magic lost because of their injuries like don't give up stupid af reasons! the Magic were still playing good in the first quarter without some of their main guys it's not like they're a bad team team with injuries. Raptors in this game were as down as 21 points this game and they fought back and won this games despite that large deficit. It's about time Raptors deserve some respect for the amount of work they've also been putting too. Do y'all forget Raptors also battled with injuries this season too in fact we're still battling with injuries to Quickley and Agbaji and yet despite having injuries when we lose games no one talks about how they struggled with injuries and still had many games where it was a close game. You gotta give credit where it's deserved too man can't be this biased towards a team especially for this many years.

Because for the most part orlando was winning a lot considering the injuries. At one point before paolo came back our top 5 scorers were injured at the same time and yet orlando still ran off a few wins during that streak with guys who either were 2way D-league guys, rookies, 3rd string players, etc. The magic injuries piled up fast from the first week and they havent been healthy since, yet, until recently was still 3-4 seed in the east. How can that not be talk about? Ive never seen a team do that. And ive been watching the nba since the mid 90s. As a young teen. Not to mentioned accomplishing things like holding 6 teams straight to under a 100 pts. Something that hadn't been done since 2018 before an injury riddle orlando magic did it.

Raptors had the 2nd best winning percentage from 2012 to 2021, gsw being number 1, us media didn't give any time, even in 2019 when they won it all, they begrudgingly spoke about them due to Kawhi. Mid teams dont win games andì stay above 500 with most of their starters and role players injured. The best defense when healthy ill bet on, and 2nd while injured, with the most depth in the league, along with two up and coming stars and 3 elite defensive guards are not mid at all. The magic has two 22- 23yrs of age and younger guys having all star caliber seasons before freak injuries. To my knowledge, no other team has that. We're not talking about capable all stars/superstars, were talking about players who have shown themselves to play at that level.
