I played division one and I still consider there is a big gap of knowledge and experience between that and a guy that is in the NFL. I was a backup all through college at a big program and I cannot as you say I have no idea what it's like to be at that next level and even guys on my team that made it up struggle because it is incredibly challenging up there. One of my buddies was a 2 time all-American and struggled for a 6 year career up there In the league. It's a completely different beast than anything else.
