I use planters with faux trees by my front door except I use leftover brick to weigh them down. Helps with the wind and possible rain drainage. So far I’m about 75% done Christmas decorating! I wanted plenty of time to enjoy the holidays this year. We had our first gathering yesterday, another next weekend, then Thanksgiving, and so on so lots of time to sit down and enjoy the company. Love your bedroom, stunning decor!

I just placed an order for more ornaments. Eeeck!! I'm 63. Adding stuff to my home is contrary to my desire to declutter. However, I've used my existing color scheme for many, many years, so I felt this year I could have a different look, with the same tree. Seeing your video today made me realize that my bigger tree would look good in front of the bay-type window in my big bedroom. That tree is often too big to use in my family room. 🤣lightbulb moment. Well I’ve been doing the ornament bowl for nearly 20 years. Glad it caught on.😊 I put moss on top of soil of a live plant in the bedroom. I have a heightened sense of smell and had to remove the moss because I could smell a musty dirty smell. Took a few days to figure out where it was coming from. Wet moss.
