So relatable about the thrips 😭🤣 great video of one!! So lovely to see your garden in 3D as it were - it's so much wider than I previously realised - the potential is sooo exciting!! Can't wait to see what you do with it! Your H. polyneura should flower much more readily now that it's flowered once - I've found with my flowering Hoyas that once that first flowering starts they flower over and over!! 🤍🥰

Haha the thrips are part of our collection at this point Emma! Yeah the garden is a good size! I’ll show it properly in a video soon but it’s just so full of junk (and snow) at the moment! Haha. That’s good to know about the Hoya flowering thank you! I do worry though as it gets slightly less light than it did in my other room. But we will see how it goes! Thank you for watching Emma!!!!

If you have water movement in the tank that stuffs up frogbit. You need water movement for gas exchange but then the frogbit wants to melt! You can use surface dams to protect an area and that can really help the frogbit.

Thanks for the advice! I will definitely try them again one day in a tank without a huge snail in it :)

Always great to see an update of your plants, especially the Polyneura, it's my favourite. Have you ever tried lechuza pon for your hoyas or alocasia's? I find it's been so amazing for so many of my plants. Merry Christmas and congrats on your new home

Thank you so much for watching! I actually have one small Hoya in lechuza pon at the moment, it was a barely rooted cutting so I’m hoping it does well, I will include it in a future update to show you! Merry Christmas!!

Congratulations on the move! and it's also great that you have a partner interested in plants as well. Are we going to meet them? Mine is always willing to look at or listen about mine but it totally goes in one ear an out the other. I can't wait to see how your plant journey progresses as you settle in and they find places around the house. Do keep us updated on the Sensation, I got mine two years ago shortly before I bought my own home and it's a giant now. I agree Peace Lily is an awesome plant, I have several cultivars from a mini that only gets 4"-5" (10-12cm) to my Sensation that is about 4 foot now (1.2 meters) and others with various lines and variegation. If you want some to add to your collection check out 'Silver Streak' 'Mojo Lime' 'Blue Moon' 'Power Petite' and S. clevelandii

I can’t wait for mine to get that big! Do you feed yours at all? I want to try to feed mine to encourage faster/bigger growth. I’ll definitely look into those cultivars thank you! I’m surprised at how much I like them! Thanks for watching!

@@PlantingMemories I use a quarter strength miracle grow every time I water and once every couple months I flood them with plain water to get out any excess. And don't worry about needing to encourage faster growth trust me if they are getting good light they size up pretty quickly on their own. Good luck!
