The burp at 21:01 literally had my dying, so nonchalant 🤣 You do need a green spot/splash or mojito to add to the collection! But I’ve been trying to eye for a steyermarkii but I’ve found they’re expensive for relatively small, unestablished plants. One day!

@@ZeusDance yes! I have mine all the way back (maybe 15-20ft) from a W & near an N window, water whenever I remember and it does well. Slower grower in comparison of other Syngonium, and took a while to establish for me. But overall low care & pretty easy!

After watching many syngonium videos here on youtube, I've got to say, this is the best so far. I have many of the varieties you're shown. Some you said were very common seem to be more expensive than some of the varieties that are harder to find. The world is crazy right now. Thanks for the wonderful identification video. I liked syngoniums when I 1st got back into houseplants this year BUT recently have been super obsessed and even watched your old video about them and 2 days later you posted this! 😍 Love how in tune you are 😂 I have pink illusion (my 1st), a confetti I got sold as a terrarium plant ($2) and it is just the cutest and has grown a lot, a rooted cuttings of white butterfly from a friend, neon robust (got 2 wks ago) and pixie (bought yesterday)! Can’t wait to get more!

I have white butterfly and Strawberry cream. The white butterfly grows wild in my flower bed outside and is really taking over my space. My strawberry cream lives on my porch and I am about to have to give her a moss pole because she is almost 2 foot tall now and so full and lush. Fish emulsion keeps her growing so fast! So happy for you!!

It took me awhile to get into Syngoniums( not really since I started my house plant journey in January). My first syngonium I got was Maria's allusion I got from a foliage mixed order from Josh's Frogs . I saw a lot of unboxing videos where a lot of youtubers were getting them and I wasn't sure what to get to start collecting plants. From that one I've gotten some cuttings from etsy . I now have a pink splash, albo , pink flecked . and whole plants like the holly , white butterfly and a couple more I can't think of the names. Love the video!

Thank you for showing all the different types! Super cool! You keep saying that you've been struggling with your syngonium, and I had the same problem until I downsized the pots. On all of them! And I mean super small so the roots really never sat in water. And it worked! From then on they have grown alot, and so I will only up-pot them when they are completely root bound. Hope that helps!

I have the white butterfly and have taken cuttings from it and they grew into a huge plant I gave to my daughter. I still have the mama and another one that I grew from a cutting. I have them on my patio. I’m in Florida so they grow like crazy out there. I tried to have one called a dwarf that was so tiny but it died. Loved seeing all of yours.

Syngonium is one of my absolute favorites! Many of these you have shown are on my wishlist simply because of what you stated early on as far as not readily available on the states and the high price because of that. My kids gave money for my birthday about a week ago and since I couldn't find one of my wishlist Syngoniums that fit that budget, I decided to buy a bunch of the cheaper versions of Syngoniums. I am patiently waiting for my plant mail. I was lucky enough to have my husband buy 2 wishlist Syngoniums for my birthday. You should check. Hi Harli! I love syngoniums too. I’m fairly new to adding them to my collection so I only have a few. I have one big common one (NOID), a moonlight (which you totally need!), a strawberry cream, a pink spot and an Albo. Ones I have on my wishlist are: Starlight, Strawberry Ice, Batik, Wendlandii (sp?), Frost and more. Let me know if you want a moonlight cutting!

Syngoniums grow wild on my island and I'm lucky because I love them. I'm busy propagating the pink one which is not so available. Will be selling them. ETA now That I'm seeing so many cool varieties I will be keeping an eye out when I'm outdoors. I will be sure to pot up a few more.💚

I really didn’t know there were so many Syngonia. The White Butterfly was my first plant (as an adult on my own) too. That was back in 1990 (not still alive). The Steyermarkii reminds me of the Philo Golden Dragon. I love it and I put the Batik, Starlite, and Strawberry Cream on my wishlist bc of this video. 💕

my favorite plant is the syngonium wenlandii! To hear you say it likes humidity has me thinking "oh no!" Mine is at normal room humidity and puts out a new leaf every week or two. I feel like its happy!

I love syngonium! And you influenced that actually, from a video a few years back. I was given a syngonium in the spring, a "little star" possibly?! It wasn't doing well at all when I first got it but it's really looking good now and I have discovered it will get up to 5 'fingers' on each leaf. Always up for trading. ☺️

The 2nd Syngonium looks exactly like my White Butterfly Syngonium. When I purchased it, the leaves were very light, but the new growth has the markings like yours.

My very first syngonium was my erythrophyllum! It just really stood out to me. Agree they're a thirsty one, that took a little getting used too, but I really love it and it opened the door for all my other syngoniums. The wendlandii is my other favorite! Mine's still immature, but I just love the velvety texture and dark foliage. I also love my chiapense, it kind of reminds me of jade satin scindapsis, but a little more wiley (in typical syngonium fashion.) I've been rehabbing a syngonium that was my great grandma's and at first I thought it was a white butterfly but now that it's doing better the new growth coming out looks more like holly ribbon- it was a cool surprise! The Lance leaf is so cool but the long slender leaves my cat wpuld definitely try to chew. 😭 The Starlite is gorgeous and I think I could safely keep it without enticing my cat. And I quite like the warm tones on the rayii goja. I think the confetti is so cute too and have been meaning to grab one. The Batik is gorgeous too, that veining!
