Hoarder - "I really want to preserve it for the future." Is that why you leave it rusting out in the weather?

Just a suggestion, for shipping and packing get a garbage bag, spray in the bag spray foam insulation, close the bag and lay it on on side of your animal antlers, lay your animal down on the side and the spray foam with harden and dry inside the bag, like a mold, then another garbage bag, spray insulation foam inside the bag, lay the sealed bag down on the other half of your breakable item and it will dry hard and totally protect your shipping item, it doesn't weigh much it totally protects everything for shipping. And when you remove the bag, the spray foam never gets on your item

I am absolutely madly in love with that chair from episode 1... 500 was a bargain, I would've paid double! The big old house in the middle of a yard puts me in a rage though. Not just all those lovely old cars and furniture rotting away but the building too! He needs to realise that holding out for decades-old prices will see all that stuff turn to dust, then you've saved nothing. Quite the opposite. 😠

Later seasons are so much better than this first season where he needs to go to so many junk dealers and hoarders who refuse to sell anything. After he becomes known, he's invited to nicer places and he is willing to pay more for stuff that is in good shape.

We learn so much about practical history and how things were done. And the characters are just phenomenal.

House to Home seems to be two very different programs. One antique salvage, the other realestate for sale.

Indian motorbikes...our stepdad got one for my brothers when they were pre-teens back in the 70's. I just don't get it. 😆🤣😆🤣😂😆

Dunno how Drew makes a living by driving to to multiple places for items, but comes home empty handed😞 That has to be very stressful……the bills don’t stop coming in….

I just saw that he'll be in the next season. Apparently he doesn't consider himself a TV star. Poor man's delusional, he belongs in entertainment.

$1500 clam shells yet he wants to pay no more than $200 for them, when does this cross over into stealing territory?
@CB-jz2dn2 жыл бұрын
What would need to be factored in is - travel; labor in searching out a find & paying for all restoration & repair before sale. If the owner were able to sell independently they would have. They call Drew because Drew & his team do all the work.......
@thornyback2 жыл бұрын
I saw a similar pair being sold for $20 on another show

@@CB-jz2dn if a real estate agent did this to a house, it would be called theft.
@CB-jz2dn2 жыл бұрын
@@alphaomega17 Respectfully noted. My thought is that the seller always has the liberty to decline the offers Drew makes. But I certainly respect your perspective.
