Learn English for housework, housing, and chores. In this ESL lesson we learn vocabulary for cleaning the living room, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. We'll also learn English for doing laundry and housework. Besides useful cleaning verbs, we will learn everyday English idioms to go along with housekeeping and parts of the house. Enjoy!
Living Room
Pick up my things/put my things away/organize my things
Vacuum the floor
Fold the blankets
Clean off the coffee table
Fluff the pillows

Wash the dishes
Load the dishwasher
Wipe the counters
Sweep the floor - broom and dustpan

I'm excited to have found your work! I'll be using the housecleaning video with my Early Beginnning class tonight. I LOVE the humor, the vocabulary selection, the repetition and the visual aids. The video is longer than I prefer for my Early Beginners; I'd peg it as Advanced Beginner or even Intermediate level because of the idiom lessons included in it.
