Housing at The Ohio State University

I was a resident in the Ohio State dorms 40 years ago. Kind of interesting to see how students are living in them now.

I was a resident of the ORIGINAL Stadium Scholarship Dormitory, over 40 years ago, when it was IN the stadium (in the west side of the horseshoe). I did my summer pre-move stay-over orientation weekend in Lincoln Tower (don't know if they do those any more). You young whipper-snappers have it made! ;-) Of course, there was no internet yet (CompSci students still used punch cards to program), and we watched TV on rabbit ears on our hand-me-down black and white TVs or on the ONE color TV in the video room (watched the very first episode of SNL there with a room full of residents). Every Fall... I long to go back... enjoy it, you kids! ;-)

I have been admitted for LLM degree for fall intake 2023 at Moritz College Of Law at OSU. Can’t wait to be the part of such incredible institution. Housing seems comfortable too 🥰

I lived in Drackett Tower during 1968 -1969. Looks like very little has changed. Small spaces but we did have fun. I wonder if the students still hang food out the window during the cold season. Made for a great ice box.

What's the current minimum cost to the student per quarter regardless of who's paying for it? I remember delivering pizzas to Lincoln & Drackett (Morell?) Towers in the late 60's. Domino's still deliver?

Go to OSU Newark first. You can transfer to main campus if you get 30 credits with over a 2.0 GPA

I don’t wanna hear another thing about someone saying they love south campus. My average walk time to my classes is 22 minutes. Really housing? You let the idiots get the new north dorms but my whole group got a shit lottery number and got stuck with south. Housing sucks
