A new apartment complex for aging 2SLGBTQ+ seniors is being built in Winnipeg. As Mark Neufeld reports, the project prompted by community member’s concerns about they prejudice they could face in existing senior’s housing.

Not exclusive. No more so than countless other intuitions anyway, including all other senior living facilities. You could say those are exclusive based on age, couldn't you? If you're feeling left out btw I'm sure you can visit these folks at any reasonable time as long as you don't act the bigot you probably are. They'd be happy to have you if you made yourself an ally.

I imagine if they had a building that only allowed straight seniors, they would be sued and shut down for discrimination. The lgbqt claim they need their own place because of discrimination, but by disallowing anyone straight to live there, THEY are the ones being discriminatory.

Okay, what about availability of housing for everyone else? Why make a senior dating environment like this? Caregivers in mixed sexuality places don't give af if ur gy, queen or whatever. What about the rest of seniors. Housing is needed for everyone in this climate from long term care to affordable units. This is how we tackle that issue?
