Houston Crime Files: Mother shot, killed with 3-year-old in car, mom speaks after son, 12, killed

In this week's Houston Crime Files, a "fake" security camera was found in the boy's bathroom at an Aldine ISD high school, an 18-year-old was charged with killing a woman, who has been identified as the mother of a Houston police sergeant, in a crash, and a mother was shot and killed with her 3-year-old in the backseat.

I think the worst evils have always been happening on earth, slavery times were worse than what we see today, 70s, 80s and the 90s was worse than what we see today so yeah things are bad but if you look at the numbers back then it was worse. I think we just watch the news to much or just only focus on bad things that goes on in this country that gives us the thought of things being worse. If we paid attention to more good which nobody seems to care about then you would see there is still plenty of good going on. I'd say there is more good than bad happening on earth.

Those poor people...their loved ones are dead and there will never be a day when they don't remember this day and the savage pain of it. I doubt that poor dog will ever forget it either, even if he is somehow found and reunited with his family. That he went with her calmly seems to indicate a degree of familiarity ...maybe the woman is a relative or former neighbor, somebody known to the dog even if not particularly close to the family. What they think is a stranger abduction may be an act of betrayal sparked by jealousy or anger over something the perpetrator alone knows. The family may not recognize her because this may not be her usual appearance...after all, wigs, makeup, prosthetics, etc. can alter that easily. Either way, the poor dog was probably so bewildered and anxious when she didn't take him back home. Any news about it?

Maybe she thinks it was abandoned. I have found a dog before and didn’t try to find out who it belonged to. I just took care of it…🤷🏽‍♀️ These says they have microchips, not back then. Perhaps she just hasn’t gotten around to it. She probably thinks it’s the owners fault for letting her dog run loose in the first place. Pets sometimes get out, but if she’s one of those terrible pet owners who intentionally let their dog/pet out into the neighborhood KNOWING it can be kidnapped, then you do have it coming… Just because your dog doesn’t bite you or hasn’t bitten somebody doesn’t mean your dog should be free to roam the community and poop in peoples yard or tear stuff up, etc. Move to a farm if you wanna have roaming pets… Hopefully, this lady hasn’t eaten him with meat prices so high!
