I worked as a paralegal for years. I did my internship in criminal law. I lost 40 lbs and lost sleep for months. I will NEVER WORK IN CRIMINAL LAW FOR THAT REASON. This sounds so shady for the attorney to say witnesses means people knew she was in a bad situation and did not help her.

Dude it’s not race at all, white people commit the most crime of any race. It’s not a race thing it’s a culture issue and economic issue. Culture in the in the way there is a pattern of harmful practices. This culture transcends race. People that have one parent are more likely to commit crimes, high school dropouts also more likely to commit crimes. Children who parents are teen parents are more likely to commit crime. Economic issue can cause one to turn to a life of crime as a survival method. Perhaps they grew up with one parent who have to work 2 jobs so is hardly around and with little money kid turns to a group of friends that can give him the “high life” by that I mean turn to gangs and drugs that’s one possible example there many ways people turn to a life of crime. The real issue is addressing broken families and educating our kids taking steps to prevent people from falling down the wrong path and correcting them this will save us money in the long run as we aren’t paying for all these court employees police officers and thousands of other things. Correctional institutions (jails and prisons) are the most expensive thing any town has to pay for excluding cost of law enforcement and courts
