Gee, you don't want the Rockets to package the third pick with Green or Cam for LeBron and draft Bronny with their second pick and we can watch those two dominate the Rockets. Meanwhile, the Lakers can draft a top pick in the draft have a few more first round picks in future years courtesy of the Rockets.

I think Stone should stick to signing free agents, and finding diamonds in the rough (drafting)....I don't trust him with trades. That trade for Bridges was insane....he's the best player on a bad team, and we already have plenty of very good wings. And with the Harden trade, he basically gave Allen and Levert away...should've gotten a lot more from it. I like Sheppard at 3....over 50 % from 3, great basketball IQ, passer, and plays hard. Everybody keeps saying he sucks on defense, but he averaged 2.5 steals in under 30 minutes while coming off the bench as a freshman. And he's a lot better athlete than I thought...easily dunking with 2 hands. I suggest people watch his scouting videos, if you don't know much about him.

Reed Shepherd is a must draft guy for Houston at 3. 6’3 guard. Averaged 12.5/4/4.5 with 2.5 steals and only 2 TO (2.25 ATO) on 54/52/83 splits. This player is absolutely special. He can play both on and off ball, and will be a winning player on day one. He most likely won’t be a superstar but honestly no one else available at three will be either. But Reed fills in the backup point guard role, shoots insanely well and will be NBA ready on day 1 unlike other more raw prospects. Reed Shepherd at 3 should be a no-brainer for Houston.

I like the 2 trade back options you presented.......interesting. we may not get a star from this draft, but then I don't think that's what we necessarily need. because of how weak this draft is I don't think any trades will be made for picks in the future. there are stars already appearing to be shaking loose, but we would be wise to wait a survey the whole landscape. I was for a Mitchell trade but having 2nd thoghts on that. if all else fails bring back the CORE SEVEN lol

PG - Amen SG - Green SF - Jabari PF - Sengun C - Clingan 🚀🚀🚀🚀 Eason & Cam (6th Men) this is how you build a dynasty from drafts and dont tell me you dont need a 7ft shot blocker with the likes of Wembanyama and Jokic and Embiid all dominating in the modern era of Bigs. Jock Landale is horrendous and Steve Adams isn't a long term fix. We need a solid big (Clingan). A defensive anchor is what we lack.

This lineup has 3-4 players who have absolutely no business shooting. You can’t win without floor spacing in the modern NBA. For this lineup to work, you’re banking on at least three players making major improvements as shooters at a minimum. Plus you can just sign Isaiah Hartenstein in FA, which is a lot easier than getting a point guard who’s also a legit sniper from three

Bridges is an elite defender whose D only slipped a little because he was expected to be the team's no. 1 scorer. He's a fantastic shooter, can return to being a 3 behind Sengun and Jalen and focus his efforts more on guarding the other team's best player. However, I doubt Brooklyn makes this deal with the Rox (see below) - hahahaha at least we had top 4 protections on our picks in the CP3 trade. Looking at Brooklyn now, what a horrendous deal that was. This would have gone back to BKN if they had the protections Houston had.

Stone’s response to picking best available is a political one. If he does pick he can tell the player he thought they were the 3rd best in draft rather than they played position we wanted. This helps build relationship from the start.

Dont sleep on Matas. Honestly believe Buzelis has the highest upside inside the top 5. Really really like the Causo proposal. I dont think the Bulls do it, but if they pick swapped and traded Caruso for ....AND you can draft a big with the Bulls pick. You do it. Hard to see the upside with Sheppard or Clingan.... really dislike both prospects at #3. Aint happening.

Trading Down is probably the most likely option if they want to do some trades. Because if the rockets want to look for a star there not that many stars out there. I dont think Mitchell Ingram or Lauri as much as I like him don’t think they will move the needle. So yeah I’m with trading down you could trade with Portland because if we do we could possibly draft Reed or get Dalton Kinchet. Also if they don’t trade the 14th pick they can get a big like Ware and they can stash him for a year and he backs up Sengun in 2025. I also heard that they could trade with the Bulls like Caruso the 11th pick for the third pick that could be a nice trade If they can’t find the right deal just keep the pick and draft whoever on top of your board. Either way it’s crazy how we struck gold with the Harden trade. Yeah that trade is pretty much negates the damage of the Russ trade. The future is bright in H-Town

I think Donovan Clingan is going to be the second pick. I he falls to 3, I would take him and keep him. If he is gone, I would trade the pick. Udoka and Stone already inquired about trading for Malcolm Brogdon last season. That is good enough for me and I disagree with anybody in a blink of an eye that doesn't want him. But we need to get a future pick also and Portland to extend Brogdon's contract; he is in his final year. This is the perfect role for Brogdon because his body tends to breakdown with starter minutes. Also if Jalen decides to start the season poorly like he did they last 3 years, we would have Brogdon and Cam to play shooting guard. Malcolm would be a great backup for Fred too.

I'd grab Zaccharie Risacher or Ron Holland. Holland seems like Tari Eason with better offense. Holland seems like he has the highest potential to be a star and can put up the same points as Jalen and Senguin without holding the ball. If the pick isnt traded, I'd get Risacher at 3 or trade back and package it with Dillon Brooks to get Holland and let Tari and him battle for the starting Small Forward role. I'd rather have a 3rd scorer that has the potential to be better than Jalen and Senguin than a center that is only going to be a back up unless its Alexzander Scar.

@jihadmuhammad9491 Ай бұрын
@jalenjohnson0339 You don't get Reed Shepard as a top 3 pick. You don't get a guy that's going to be a backup as a top pick in any draft unless your team is loaded. You say we have too many wings but we have too many guards too. Best case scenario, they get someone that's better than someone already on the team and they take their spot. Drafting someone that's always going to be behind a young starter with the third pick makes no sense.
