I moved to Houston a couple years ago and there’s just something lovable about this school. The spirit is thru the roof and it’s becoming a big 12 school soon. Good times ahead UH!

From what I observed at the 2:09 mark. Right after the interception bye Houston. #29 makes the tackle. Then his teammate #50 tries to jump on top of them, and lands on #29's right arm! This was like the Reverse Texas Tech game for Houston. It took Holgo 57 minutes to figure out that Memphis couldn't guard his big WRs and that throwing to them, especially in the red zone, might be better than being cute with the playcalling.

@chadcausey322 жыл бұрын
@@martyklestadt6766 ah, i see the confusion here. When i say #1 receiver thats just football terminology identifying wide receivers from outside -> in. His jersey number is 13 and he is play side. But rather than say jersey numbers you'd say the #1 receiver to the boundary ran a rub route for #2 (the next receiver inward) but the rub route wasnt a rub. He basically blocked the defender. Cant do that when ball is thrown beyond the line of scrimmage.

I care nothing for either team, but my God, Memphis should be absolutely embarrassed for themselves. Coaches should use this team as an example of what happens with complacency, arrogance, lack of focus, and undisciplined play. They got a big lead and got lazy. You could actually see them give up their effort in real time. So much chest thumping and celebrating in the 2nd and 3rd. You could see this coming the whole way, and not because Houston did anything right, but because Memphis did EVERYTHING wrong. Memphis coaching staff needs to permanently bench half of the team and send a message if they want to move up to the next tier. Let the kids coming up behind play. This was inexcusable lack of effort from their supposed "stars".
