to me the voice represents someone that is calm because he know that you can't rush life. It is a voice without judgement, a voice that understands, a voice without ego, a voice of pure understanding.

I think Deepak is off base with his implying that the the original intent of the "holy scriptures" of Christianity and Islam were real spirituality which was simply corrupted by religions leaders. Those books are full of garbage, but Deepak takes a few phrases and spins them into more benign spiritual ideals.

you could see Evangelical Christians pastor claimed they are spirit-filled but yet their personal life is full of fear and sorrow on how to overcome their self and their religious dogma... i wish you joy.
