The Buckeyes fan in me has been rooting for CJ since day 1, when he "struggled" in a road victory at the Minnesota Golden Gophers. The Browns fan in me was temporarily revived with the Joe Flacco storyline, causing this game to be the one and only time in my life that I have rooted against CJ. I was hoping that Myles Garrett would dominate (but not injure) CJ and the Browns would win. But instead the rated 94 on Madden Left Tackle (Leremy Turnsil? is that his name?) didn't allow any pressure from Myles. CJ Stroud had an insane group of wide receivers at OSU (especially in 2021) but this Texans team has the advantage in only one other area on offense: the Left Tackle. Give CJ Stroud time and he can slice and dice you with "average" receivers. The Texans defense doesn't seem to have any "star" players yet, but the coaching appears to be top-notch. We shall see what the weather is like in Baltimore. Rooting for CJ the rest of the way.
