That's an Iranian made missile assembled in Yemen and yet this is not the interesting part. what is really interesting is this missiles can hit precisely a ship sized target ( at least ) in open waters and apparently from a great distance. It is not an easy task to make missiles that run 6 or 7 times the speed of sound hit a spot in the water precisely especially when they're coming down from the sky. This means that Yemen is able to target with precision any military build or camp within the range of the missile and also the outstanding development of the Iranian tactical missiles.

Hypersonic missile doesn’t automatically mean it’s the best missile because you need to (My knowledge on hypersonic is surface level) 1 keep it cost effective enough you can produce it at a large enough scale for it be affordable 2 hypersonic missiles are very hard to maneuver so the bassicaly go in a straight line for the target making its easier to intercept 3 because they are going at such high speeds the outside of the missile basically just give it a very a high heat detection and a lot of the worlds air defense systems uses sensors to detect the heat on missiles

Look up the sprint missile made by the U.S in the 1960s which went at a speed of Mach 10 If you don’t know Mach 5 is the bare minimum to be considered hypersonic
