ERROR: Storage type mismatch! scatter: HW_STORAGE_EMMC device: HW_STORAGE_UFS I have edited the scatter file's storage parameter to read "HW_STORAGE_UFS"; but still it is giving the same error. I used this method to dump a 8168B (AND THANK YOUUU) but with this MT8768 on SP v5.22 when i use scatter file created on wwr (2.51) get mt87 not supported tells me to update but on SP v6 no box for scatter file only download-XML and auth file boxes.....what do i do with the scatter created on wwr?? I have dead redmi 9a and am trying to read back since flashing with downloaded firmware gives me an error. so following the video tutorial i saw a certain comment for us to use chipset mtk6765 since mine is mt6762. but when i try to read back after modifying EMMC BOOT1 i get "invalid preloader error".... and i have tried changing sp flash tool to advanced mode , changing preloader to upper letters a directed rom one of your suggestions .... please help

Thanks Hovatek! One question: my full ROM dump seemed successful except for the message that the userdata was encrypted. When I try to restore the full dump using SP Flash, it looks like it runs successfully but then gives me an error "your password was correct but your data is corrupt" followed by a factory reset prompt. What did I do wrong with the WWR ROM creation process?

Nothing is wrong with the wwr process. Userdata is encrypted for your model hence dumping userdata before its disabled causes such
