I just got mine in the mail today, yes Hover 1 has definitely been improving their scooter. It was nearly ready to ride out of the box. All I did was set it up, adjust to brakes to my comfort and put a little bit of air into the tires.

I know this video is old, but they now have these for $198.00 on Amazon and on the Wal-mart site. For 200 and free shipping, I can live with all the cons. When are you going to do the "More to come!" part?

i just got 1 last week, i think they fixed all the issues you mentioned. the stems are curved now and the steering stick is pretty tight out the box. i love this scooter so far.

I hope you don't need replacement parts for it. Because hover one will not send them to you I was trying to buy some So I can fix it And be able to write it again but they will not send them

You cannot get a live person on the phone. I'm gonna call the people I referred to Hoover and tell them. It's probably a bad idea. Because if it needs to be fix they won't be able to fix it

Hey cool video.. Just so you know the motor is in the front. The back is a drum brake. If you lift up the front and spin the tire and then hit the throttle the front wheel will spin and not the back. If you roll the scooter backwards and then hold down the brake the front tire will lift up.

The battery only lasts for 45 minutes to 1 hour on these low budget electric scooters so it's best to invest in a mini portable power station or or power bank with a 110 w ac outlet to take with you in a bang with your charger cord so you can charge your scooter so you won't run out of power you'll know when you're running out of power when the battery bar gets down to 2 bars and it starts losing speed best to charge it when it gets to 3 bars so it can charge up faster from an hour to 2 hours since this is a 12 mile scooter that equals 45 minutes of battery life to ride it before it loses power knowing that gives you a heads up on how far you need to travel with it safely 👍

Hi Luke. Thanks for sharing your review of the Hover-1 Alpha scooter. I bought the scooter as a Christmas present for my son. He used the scooter for a day or so and on the second day, the scooter died as he was riding it, meaning it shut off out of the blue. Since then I cannot get it to start. I pressed and pressed the on button but nothing happens. So I let the scoffer sit for a few days hoping that it drains, enough to recharge (red light in the power strip). At this point I disconnected and tried to start it started then I turned it off and tried to start again and it wouldn’t. Any ideas as to what might be the issue? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have this scooter ,was working fine,but know it not powering on and when plug it to charge it green light on the charger,and just before couple minutes of used battery had 4 straps, so I know the battery is charged, next day when trying to used it ,it's not power on at all,no display on led screen

OK this happened to mine but it was an overheat after going up a hill. Mine worked after about a 4 hour cool down but if yours still isn't powering on I wonder if something melted or shorted inside

I bought the scooter because of a few videos including yours I really like it I have the Hover1 edge and I liked it but I needed more power for commuting but the Hover1 alpha is a complete beast compared to those other Hover1 scooters thank you for the video.

They don’t mention it’s a steel frame which makes it a little bit of a pig, the thing has an abundance of plastics compared to the pioneer and the plastic stuff tends to snap off and get left along the way. It will cover some groundthough.... I paid 300+ tax, it might’ve been 300 even I forget. It’ll do just under 20 mph. What do you get used to 10 inch tires as opposed to 8 1/2, it just makes the 8 1/2 inch tires feel like a toy.

Accelerator error. I just got that error too, and it's a month out of warranty so they won't fix it. If you can return it, do that.

I damaged the valve extender because I didn't know and there was no instructions on it.... how do you take it off?

I bought this scooter 🛵 but I had a really bad experience with it when I was riding the scooter 🛵 and try to stop it don’t work I end up having a accident and heard my legs and arm I call Amazon and let them know what happen they ask me if the scooter turn on I say yes but is making a noise with a red light in the back weals Bluetooth work and everything but it does run any more 😂
