HOVERCRAFT DAY TRIP TO THE ISLE OF WIGHT | twoplustwocrew
We booked tickets on the Hovercraft for the whole family and friends for a day trip to the Isle of Wight. The children had never been on a Hovercraft so were very excited.
The plan was to walk along the coastline to Bembridge which takes approximately 3 hours depending on distractions of rope swings found on the water's edge, shell hunting and an impromtu swim!
We took the camping stove to cook our sausages on the beach and refuel the kids with homemade chocolate cake before embarking on the return hike through woods and the sands as the tide had gone out presenting a whole new playgroung for the children on our return walk. There were even a couple of quality stops for the adults in the form of a very nice pub opposite the Seaview yacht club on our return just in time for a sharpner!
It ended up being an epic day trip which we would highly recommend - 5 stars!
