Yes, there are other better ads, but this one deserved the top spot because it is authentic, and tell the story of our history as Brits. A winning combination. By the way, that loaf must have had loads of preservatives!

OUTSTANDING! in todays world where everything seems too plastic and passes us by too quickly, it's terrific that stuff like this can still be made. Britain! CHAMPIONS!

Brilliant advert. Even more heartwarning than the John Lewis one. I'm not British but my heart aches at what Britain has been reduced to day. All those qualities which were held high to be worthy of emulation - politeness, respect to elders, kindness and honesty - where have they gone? I do hope that soon, they come back into vouge and daily life.

Amazing advert! Took us through every single decade from 1900 'till present day, but seemed to go from the 80s (miner's strikes) to the millennium (fireworks) missing out the 1990s. Still, the best advert I've seen in such a long time. I'm a Warburtons gal myself though lol.

Yeah you're right. The Churchill speech and seeing the soldiers going off to battle gets me every time. The first time I saw it I nearly shed a tear. Such a briliant advert, so patriotic. I wish we celebrated being English/British more than we do. It's as if it's a crime to be proud to be English these days.
