Just a suggestion from am old bike mechanic. The quick release handle should be folded so it points rearward when you tighten it. The reasoning is if you ae going through the bushes and a branch catches on it, if it is facing forward it can be released with the possibility of dropping the front axle out of the fork on a big bump....bad day on the trail. I have learned so much from you guys, mainly not to buy a big bus or class A motorhome. I look forward o every episode. Thanks.

I saw a Hovcart in an E-bike store and liked it. Trying to decide between the Hovsco Hovcart and the Lectric Xpedition. Does anyone have experience with both and can help? Hard decision.

I like the bike. I have a question re: the solar system you put in a year or so ago. Is it really providing your electrical needs? Thanks for responding.

Wow. I gave my 1000w to my neighbor for free. Way to fast. I’m 64. Dang can’t do a crazy crash. I wiped out at Bandimere Speedway at 100 mph. They said I should be dead. All others were in hospitals. I went in my rental trailer. Had road rash thru my leathers. Hematoma my thigh and elbow.

We got one by lectric. They have a folding trike 60 mile range. These electric bikes are so cool.

They are fun and convenient to get around on.

This looks like the best of the bunch, quality wise.

I prefer the throttle on the left side myself. I use a 7-speed trike so when I get it converted to electric it will be left hand throttle. That front wheel should have had safety tabs but didn't. This means the wheel can straight out fall off of the front end if something goes wrong. Ouch...for that amount of money that is not good.

I do also. I like shifting through the gear pushing the throttle. Its kind of hard when both the shifter and throttle are on the same hand.

Triumph motorcycles were build in Britain and everything was reversed on them too, but they were one of the fastest bikes sold in America in the '60s & early '70s

Besides fixing up buses, you could start a bicycle shop as well by now. You certainly have enough experience assembling them 🤣

@@BusGreaseMonkey Doesn't meet the rules for a legal vehicle. Where's the number plate for starters?
@Nickle314 Жыл бұрын
@@BusGreaseMonkey So you need a) Register it as the keeper etc b) Get a type certificate c) Wear a kite marked helmet d) Have insurance e) Add a number plate f) Pay VED on it g) Have the correct endorsement on your license. Then you can use it on the road. b is the big problem. That's the bit that costs thousands of pounds.

Scott is a bit tubby. However, cycling (even with electric assist) is good exercise so he can do something about that. It does take some effort and persistence though 😉
