Cool engineering but... not sure how practical burst firing is for a handgun. The purpose really...of any full auto or burst selector (original M16) is for suppressing fire. Unlike what Hollywood portrays, full auto isnt very effective for hitting tangos as its a very uncontrolled method of firing. Its purpose is suprresi fire to allow thngs like repositioning. Enemies tend to keep their head down and not fire when there are waves of hot lead flying their way. This is why there is a 3 rd selector on the M16 for example. So... pistols arent really purposed for long range engagements where suppressing fire is most usefull. Its a neat feature for out at the range or whatever but... dont see a practical combat or even LEO function. Maybe thats why it had such a short production run. I do love my Browning BDA 380 manufactured under licesne by Beretta. Its been a solid weapon with no issues for years! She just shoots and shoots.
