The borehole is estimated to produce 1.04m3/hr. The community has formed a management committee to oversee the project. To ensure sustainability, they charge a monthly fee of 100 Kenyan Shillings per person, 30 Kenyan Shillings per cow, and 10 Kenyan Shillings per sheep or goat.
