Always impressed with your lighting, camera work, and your editing. Great little video that shows off all of it.

I had one as a wee boy though not as sophisticated as yours. I think it’s still in my mothers garage, must dig it out for hours of fun, thank you Professor.

Thank you Professor. That was beautiful. I have a 1916 Victrola. It has a similar ball system and it the entire machine is just wonderful to watch. Some of the most fascinating and beautiful technology, I believe, came out long before the modern age of electronics. God bless you and yours.

As a Scotsman I’m surprised you didn’t give it it’s correct name - The Watt Governor! Another one of James Watt’s wonderful inventions. The 4 bar linkage you have there is also known as a Watt linkage too.

Back in ye olde day when I was an apprentice maintenance engineer I asked the old guy I had been been given to what's that with the spinning balls he just looked t me and said its a governor son 🙄he was a reat old school engineer and taught me so much about how to use a hammer correctly it's surprising how many people do t know how to use a hammer 🙄 oops nearly forgot that's a beautiful model👍🙂

Living proof that you are never too old to play. Nice toy Mr Simon. Normally about €675 now on sale for. about €300. Oh boy, I would get to sleep in the unheated She Shed. I still can't afford your toy.

@@DistracticusPrime yeah definitely a thing. I hate that I did it myself when I always see the typos everywhere like my eyes are drawn to them inevitably.

I don't think that you show an added external source of heat to make this machine run as fast as you are showing it in THIS video. In other videos of this machine, the boiler is heated only by the two built-in burners that are too small to make the water produce enough steam to run this engine fast enough. True? It seems like there is some dishonesty here. True again?
