Watching this brings so much memories, my mum was a patient here, the services she received at Nyaho was excellent. My siblings and I rushed her to this hospital in such a state we all taught she was going to die but the first class services received saw her lived for more than 10 years. I still remember taking her to the hospital for her monthly check ups. MATILDA DUODUA , sure they have her records. Their services is advanced and this is from someone leaving in London now, she was a patient in the 80’s and 90’s

This is the best black youtube channel because it shows the black people who are DOING THE WORK. We constantly get on the internet and complain and say " we need to do this", "we need to do that", "we need to start businesses" etc, but we don't step back and take a deep breath and ask the question "What about the black people who are actually doing the work? Maybe if we interview these people, it will inspire other black people to get up and do the work". Wode Maya is one of the few black people who understands this.

I know this family pretty well. They're hard working people. Nothing comes easy! The kids had purpose before they even started university or college. We, Africans need to unplug time wasting social media feed and start working projects, small or big, alone or in groups, have a purpose. Africa is the future!

This is interesting perspective you have given, but how do we solve this problem considering our poor health care system. This is a difficult one to crack, I want your take about the way forward.
@dossube
@dossube 3 жыл бұрын
@@TWUMKWAME5 The health care system is poor now but it won't remain poor if we start working together, continue working as a team, serving communities, writing policies that govern the health care system and restore public trust. As a group of experts and highly regarded medical professionals or any other professionals for that matter, a responsible government would listen and be inclined to make changes for the betterment of the African people. When we put our heads down and keep working we can change the world if not our world. Peace, my friend !
@tvs9978
@tvs9978 3 жыл бұрын
@@TWUMKWAME5 the change has started with the 88 new district hospitals. What we need now is the equipment, experts and HR professionals to properly educate and train nurses (because the nurses are part of the problem) and then maintenance funds to maintain all these new buildings and equipment. If doctors abroad see that they will have an enabling environment to work in, most would be willing to take a small pay cut to return (or stay) in the country
