How a Paintball Regulator Works

great video quick question. I have an old private label shocker sft hybrid the regulator isnt stock it was replaced and It says 200-700psi on the reg itself. Does that mean I need a low pressure tank or a tank regulator that can adjust the output? thanks in advance

Typically the gauge will simply show you the pressure that the regulator is putting out (if it is after the regulator then that should be the case). For an SFT Shocker typically any tank with a 550PSI-850PSI output will do the job.

Does the spring affect reg output pressure? Harder spring = lower output pressure?

@@midgetmayhem764 - its the other way around. If you make the spring "weaker" than it will lower your output pressure. If you make the spring "stronger" it will take more pressure / increase your pressure.
