to be honest, if you change your seating position every day your aim will change. I noticed that myself. sometimes you feel like you have never aimed before and you are like WTF IS going on maybe your hand isn't in the usual position, or your chair is a bit higher or lower than normal, focus on those tiny things :).

Would love to see you covering how to hold certain positions on all of the maps, just like a mini-series. One could be like, "How to play short A on Inferno". Like this if you want the same thing!
@TGFZxStorm5 жыл бұрын
Download yprac, play prefire and take a look on the bots positions. You can find some really great spots with that method since they cover off-angles aswell. How to hold angles really much depends on situation and you also dont want to play to common angles since the enemy is preaiming them. Another thing you can do is when you died check your topfragger teammate crosshairplacement and watch out for preaims he does and try to prevent holding these angles. You have to be alltime aware of the disadvantage for the Player holding the angle. Another tip i can give when you hold from a Common position like headshot B Side on cache is when you realise the enemy engages go behind cover and peek 1-3 secs later so you get the peekers advantage and enemys crosshair is already on the next angle and they have to do a fast flick to win the gunfight (just works when you re not spoted!!). You also can work alot with your teammates and bait for each other so one of you can swing and get a kill while the other one who played as the bait hides and swings or change position afterwards when the enemy gets focused on the other one who not played the bait. As i said holding positions depends to much on the situation so you cant give some allround tips on how to hold certain positions you can convert into your gameplay. However there are positions having advantage over their counterparts and some having disadvantages. If you wanna improve to an advanced level, you have to play, train and figure it out for yourself so you can understand how and when to change your gameplay in different scenarios so you get the advantage over your enemy. Hope i could help you out.

So as soon as you feel the tilt you have to calm down and refocus on your game , relaxing and just getting over it. If you are really stressed , then you should take a break and focus on something else.

8:15 - 9:10 thats the biggest problem of mine, concentration and focus. It affects my consistency. And i unconsciously do that twitching but not while waiting and peeking but when i am bad with aiming and i do it automatically like just checking if my mouse and pc and my hand are working good and together (i experience lags and stutters often). And i never thought about doing mouse hand twitching while waiting in corner to get back my focus in the game, i never thought about it in that way, thats nice information i got there in the end.

I want to see a compilation of all the little things n0thing touches on that other high profile players dont. I cant recall a pro ever explaining positioning yourself in your chair and your arm so that youre where youre optimal at. Only time ive heard other pros touch on this stuff they just say "preference" or "get comfortable" they dont explain that its really just get in your optimal positioning. You can feel comfortable in your setup but putting yourself at a disadvantage. I also would like to hear n0things analysis on the state of the amateur scene since he touched on practice routines and that the biggest part is practicing with a team then working on improving yourself from there. CSGO's entry level\ amateur scene isnt like 1.6 or even source. You can't just try out for multiple teams and go straight into scrims or even ring for teams without some sort of networking or straight up grinding stats to impress a bunch of nonamers enough to even get a try out for their open team. I dont even know if CSGO has an IRC equivalent. I know there are facebook groups and websites or even ESEA but there isn't this central spot where hundreds of teams are looking for tryouts ingers\scrims. I might suffer from oldtimer syndrome but I want to hear someone like n0thing at least talk about that shift in the competitive scene.
