ahhh... the sneaky hooks in CURIE - front & back 👀

As far as "just two N's to be played" ... well there was NoNe! [25:08] 🙃 Tough draw for both you and opponent. Well played regardless of the loss. That 100 point bingo had you got it would of made all the difference. Appreciate these live game plays, David. So glad I found your channel.

@@kingofrunescapepking Yes, it was a good fight all the way, despite the missed 100-point bingo.

Still, it was a tough board for both David and opponent.

That's wild that you missed mauzier considering you spotted mazier -- is mauzier a new word for you or was it just a heat of the moment thing?
@gheffzКүн бұрын
I thought that, too.

MAUZIER is not new for me, I have studied it over 140 times in my cardbox. No real explanation as to why I missed it but could be similarity to GAUZIER or lack of alternative answers when cardboxing so doesn't fully embed, or just one of those things that happens to keep you humble

I must confess, I was rooting for opponent that time. ('Mon, opponent!!!) I usually root for Dweebo, but this opponent was an underdog, whom I strongly suspect I know from real life. (I may be mistaken.) Great game from both!

ETUI valued at only minus one--Macondo sure loves vowel heavy leaves

i think red or rod at g3 were probably better plays than oral when opponent signaled they had the s for the tun hook. sacrificing points and they do both take front hooks but not the s, but such a hot bingo lane i still think even a slight obstruction is worthwhile. there were also 5 letter plays from e3 ending in e using the ecurie hook at various points that don't completely block the lane but limit opponent's positioning of the s.

feels critical 2 block that spot given the tell from opp. G2 ALOD seems like a better translation of this idea tho

@@ab12c3d4 i think you want to restrict it to a 3 letter play, alod leaves a floating a and a super hot spot for ax, ex, or ox.
@ab12c3d4Күн бұрын
@@wfchannel4673 rack mgmt (splitting the A's) also key here. the floating A is open only at specific positions & does restrict overall bingo % - tho less effectively
