Dear MrPaladin, I know there has been some recent outrage from the TF2 community regarding your Overwatch videos. I would like to speak for everyone in the TF2 community (whether they agree with me or not) by saying 'Thank you for everything you have done for the TF2 community, you've made so many great videos that have helped an astonishing amount of players. It has been a very long time since TF2 has had any real changes and you've completely covered every subject anyone could possibly think of concerning spy gameplay. At this point there isn't much left to talk about until the pyro update comes out and even then there still wont be much to cover. We understand this and understand your decision to make videos not related to TF2, for those reasons or otherwise. Even if you decided to never make another TF2 video again, you will always be in our hearts and minds every time we press 9 on the class selection screen. I don't know how he does it, but my friend is just a whirlwind of death when he uses this watch. He always seems to be everywhere at once. He's really good at chaining backstabs and has deadeye aim with the ambassador. He uses the spycicle exclusively, yet I never see him have any trouble with Pyros, even when people rage switch to deal with him. He sees the ice statues as his calling card lol. There's a lot of people in the community who love to rip on Spies who use this watch, calling them useless. I'd love to see those people on a team against my friend. He's the best Spy I personally know, maybe even as good as you, MrPaladin.

The cloak and dagger is perfect for a lot of spies like me who need to travel under full cloak for a while because you can sit still and regenerate cloak and keep moving. Like on a camped 2fort base. No place to uncloak. Or in the situation where you need to wait for a crucial stab at the end of a match

My favorite trick about using the cloak and dagger is crouch moving while surrounded. I only need to move myself to the side a little bit since the enemy is going to focus on that one spot they last saw me. I could just sit in the middle of the crowd and just crouch my way out, while I leave them on a wild goose chase

Watching this video I realized one thing that has been getting me killed is not noticing unusual's or things of that sort in enemies that I am disguising as. And it's true, if I have a teammate that has a lot of unusuals I definitely notice where they are, they do stick out after all. Time to start disguising it as more generic enemies

I personally really enjoy the cloak and dagger as it allows me to be more flexible with my routes as spy. Although it technically has less duration than stock the ability to stay cloaked for longer periods of time help when learning maps and finding the best routes. It can lead to being trapped in a lot of situations but still a really good choice

Yesterday i was playing as engineer on 2fort with a little sentry nest and a spy pops up infront of my dispenser and (it was about 12:55 so iwas kinda tired) i got a bit confused because instead of the sentry being active it just looked at him and didnt shoot (it had full ammo) and he was just standing there doing the "you got blood on my suit" emote and without the smoke animation dissapears and that was honestly super scary and after that happened whenever i went to type i heard the uncloak sound and sometimes an actual spy was there but when there was a pyro in the room and the uncloak sound happened and i asked him why he wasnt doing anything he replied "beacause no ones around and there was no decloak sound....are u ok?" and honestly i dont know what was going on.....can someone tel me if i was just hallucinating or if im being cursed

If your team is communicating, you can still do things when pinned under cloak. You can be a literal spy and call out things of importance, such as enemy spies or the locations of enemy engineer nests.
