Hope you guys enjoyed the video! Please feel free to comment on your biggest loss ever and what you could've done better. For me, it was trying to remove the emotions from trading and determine your max loss before you trade.

I lost RM3000 within 2 days, about 20 years ago, after extracting myself out of the Crazy World corporate world of Operations and Company turnaround, the latter as GM (General Manager), of 4 factories with total Turnover RM23 Million, helped one factory make RM500,000 within first 2 months of taking charge. I am the 8th GM hired, the one GM who finally Turnaround P/L of the factory, while the other 7 GM's failed and got sacked in rapid succession.
I al sharing my experience as a beginner trader and I have to admit that it is totally a different journey I expected, very hard but finally I see green! after 8 months of red

@@sabugojorick6044 I'm a entrepreneur and also invested in the crypto markets since 2017. I leveraged traded here and there last year, so 60k is actually not that hard to get. The hard part is keeping it and making more, because you need to always take risks and these should not be too crazy or your money is gone.

At @6:09 is where he messed up, he had no business in media companies. He stepped out of his circle of competence. Once you step out of your area of expertise you are now exposed to a spike in unknown unknowns. By 10x, so his risk of ruin spiked but he didn't know because of the story of media companies being treated like tech companies. But media companies are heavy mammoths riddled with inherent debt. They are run by people who have no skin in the game, they are run by people who know how to hide risk or redistribute it. Tech companies were his edge because he shared the same idealogy as the founders.

Was the viacomCBS "Stock sale" the same as a stock split or reverse split?
@MikeSerTrader3 жыл бұрын
They were issuing more stock which would dilute existing shareholders. Stock split is actually positive bc it would split the share price but would issue more shares. Reverse split is to remove shares in order move the share price higher. Hope this makes sense.

If you look back at the daily volumes of the stocks he was getting the prime brokers to buy for him, you will notice huge volumes so liquidity wasn't an issue. But prices were being driven higher by his buying and others noticing the imbalance.
