Town of Salem is a social deduction game similar to Among us and Goose Goose Duck. Among Us/Goose Goose Duck allows you to play the game with up to 4-15 players, Town of Salem allows up to 15 players in a single game.
Like Among Us/Goose Goose Duck, you can be good or evil with factions such as Town, Mafia and Neutrals. Among/Goose Goose Duck us has 2 roles (without mods), town of salem has 33 different characters in the base game. Town of Salem is a great alternative to Among Us/Goose Goose duck if you're looking for another game in the social deduction genre. It's so funny to me when people get offended at fake Medium claims. Faking Medium is pretty hard (especially with so many meta-gamers), you got to respect anybody who fakes Medium and gets away with it. On an off-topic note: The number of times I've fake-claimed Medium and then gotten lynched because someone and their friend were playing and they go, "UHM, ACKSUALLY!! __ doesn't talk to Mediums so YOU'RE FAKE!" It's funny to me how upset they get when you call this out for meta-gaming, LOL. "That isn't meta-gaming, they're my sister" was one of the responses I've gotten before. The best part is that they brag about it often as if that's cool.

23:34 is a really good example of how you need to be crystal clear with your info as town. If people are confused by what you’re typing, like “the ghosts”, they’re not gonna be able to act on that info. That was a really early game 1f1 that nobody was able to push because they didn’t UNDERSTAND that it was a 1f1 by 14’s will, and it cost town the game.

I can see that players who are semi-trollish even when they are town (messy wills, stuff that sus them) they always get hanged by late game since you start pushing to find evils and you can't trust their info, you can say it's just the skill level, not every player is as committed and experienced or it could be a fresh player too, unfortunate.

I feel like sheriff should get more people as sus like if its a Mafioso and GF game. When the mafioso dies the Gf becomes sus or something like that. Overall, I want sheriff to have a slight buff.

@@kylehunt4673 Framer should basically have Astral Visit but permanently. It'll keep them under the radar longer since LOs and Trackers won't see them visit, giving them more claim options. Sheriff should be able to find all Neutral Evil roles as suspicious because it's kind of weird roles deliberately labeled "Evil" seem innocent (this would also inadvertently buff Jester). Also Vampires should absolutely be found suspicious, even if we do have the Vampire Hunter because VH is a lot more rare than Sheriff or Vamp.

But again, the majority of rets I've personally seen since the rework do not include the number of an LO corpse seeing itself in their will, especially if they see a second person (writing "nv" with ret LO is less common).

I've never played the game so am unfamiliar with the chat systems, but has anyone playing as Jester pretended to whisper another player pretending to be a mafia to another mafia telling them who you'll target- but have it "accidentally show up in chat" as a mistype?

Like pipe said earlier in the video, you have to always play as if you make no common mistakes so this would probably just confirm you as a Jester, it could work sometimes but most of the time you just get shot or ignored

Jailor does have Unstoppable but a GA Protect still prevents it for some reason or another, GA also prevents Arso ignite from killing as well by cleansing the douse. They don't stop Jesters, Hex bombs, or full powered Jugg, however.

Sheriff needs like 1 or 2 days where he can bypass pb/gf/framer/Hex/arso shenanigans. Like give them a "thorough interrogation" that never fails or can't be masked but has limited uses. edit: Here are some examples. Townie visited by Hex/Framer/Arso - "After a thorough interrogation, you've concluded your target is innocent, They were Doused/Hexed/Framed!" Pb/Gf/Vamp/Jester - "After a thorough interrogation, you've concluded your target is innocent, but something is off about them!" This way, it outs evils but gives them a chance to claim pb or jester and still get away. This would require jester to come up as inno, tho.

Easiest Jester win I ever had was years ago, like Trump running for election years ago and I named my self “Donald Trump” just happened to get jester all I had to do was spout a bunch of quotes from his comparing and town just got absolutely livid at me, I’m pretty sure I could have done literally nothing and still won. After the guilty I remember just telling them maybe don’t let their emotions run rampant and think for a second to not do something stupid just because of the name I picked. Talking a lot during the day can also lead to being "confirmed" while probably getting killed at night. Just look at 2s med claim. The town was so passive that claiming any role could have gotten him of the stand.

Yeah that's about right for a CAA jester game. Once I saw someone die to ambusher so I picked a random number and said I saw them set an ambush. Town believed me and lynched the unfortunate amne. They then proceeded to completely forget that I'd called the now dead amne an ambusher and I got no sus at all. A couple days later it was just me, sk and vigi, vigi asked for my will that still said I saw an amne set an ambush, and they still didn't catch on, instead hanging me because i contradicted the SK's obviously fake escort claim. Even then, it apparently never crossed either of their minds that I was jester. Got a jester only win out of it though.

GA actually has a mechanic where they prevent Jailor execute despite it being Unstoppable, they also can circumvent an Arso Ignite (cleansing the douse in the process) despite that being Unstoppable as well. The Unstoppable attacks they cannot prevent are Jester Haunt, Hex Bomb, and full-powered Jugg.
