It comes down to this, the 90% add to losers and hold them, and they love partial targets and limiting their gains by getting out and walking away. @@Cassim125 But the market doesn't care about your risk reward though; that's my point. To me it makes more sense to open a starter position and as the price moves in my favor, I add to the position. A+ setup is mentioned here pretty often. Have a kinda delicate question . Is A+ setup kinda personal secret sauce that a common man is not supposed to know, or the A+ setups have been discussed here and they are some well known bullish pattern combinations - like bullish flag etc ? Can you give an example of an A+ setup or its a secret sauce ..
@Alphaswings3 жыл бұрын
It kind of depends on what kind of trader you want to be. For example to me a A+ short setup was CLOV 6th June. The most important part is to really figure out what is a setup to you. Make a evernote account and start tracking setups, just to name a few examples: Death candle, first red day, pump and dump, daily breakout, Episodic pivot, High of day clearout. Hope this helps. Good luck in your journey!
@valireklaam3 жыл бұрын
@@Alphaswings as i understood a+ setup is one of the patterns that you mentioned plus some other indicator that confirms it to make it kinda "high probability sure bet"

A+ is what you are familiar with, for example BASKO may have a A+ setup but I think is B-, and I have a A+ setup that he thinks is C-, we all trade differently, we defined a A+ setup by the experience we have trading it and the confidence level. Day trading using options ( weekly opt) works well only on a short list of stocks. Options are an amazing instrument but options were not born for day trading. Occasionally they're the best tool for the job: Last Friday for example an AMNZ PUT 3600 went from 5K to 27K ( gaining 22K ) but usually is tricky using options to day trade. I cannot explain in a comment but if you study a good option book you will understand why is tricky.
