It's not that rare I have six different farms (from wanting to see all the cut scenes but only having the energy to focus on one villager at a time and not wanting to divorce them) and I have it on every farm. Latest I got it was towards the end of year three. Same with the owl statues, I have between 2-3 on each farm as well.

@@commentbot9510 it’s basically just a decoration but I’m pretty sure after a while the alien escapes but you can’t actually do anything with it other than move it around

All I can think of is the fact that sometimes when you sell the crops directly to Pierre, people in town will buy them and when you talk to them they will comment about them. And how they cooked and ate them.

That is wrong. I’ve gotten 2 capsules on one of my farms and still had 2 kids afterwards, so don’t worry.

what they mean by that, is that every night the game picks a random event to happen in your farm at night, and if it picks the alien capsule event then it won't pick any other, which includes your spouse asking if you want to have a baby
