My husband and I will be married 45 years. We met when I was in the eight grade. We were not allowed to date until I was 17 teen. I think our marriage lasted so long because my husband did a lot of traveling for his job. So separating for a time may have contributed to a long marriage. Married or not people need time for themselves. My mom always told me speak to people the way you want to be spoken to, and I follow that to a T.
