Can you record a showfax side, and then post the video on youtube or online? Or are those sides supposed to be kept private, because sometimes there are sides for newer shows on there?

There is not, this video was deliberately misleading on this point - he says 'you might even be able to submit' - which means nothing, you can not submit.

The role has to be available on Actors Access, or you have a relationship with someone on the project and you could send them your footage.
