This loss was so hard to handle because we literally had "everything" to play for and "everything" to lose. Then to basically be a no-show coaching and players alike is troubling.

There seems to be a lot of hate on Womack...defense gave up way to many rushing yards in the first half, but only 10pts. They adjusted and only gave up 52 yards rushing, 88 total yards in the 2nd half, even being down Lawson, the defensive play caller. The interceptions were the killer. No interceptions and adequate refs make it a different night. The offense was awful.

I really like Jalen Milroe as a person. I see him standing at the tunnel entrance at halftime many games greeting all his teammates. The weird part is that what I see and hear from him doesn't always translate to on the field performance. I will also say it's hard to put all the blame on him when the offensive line is playing so poorly. When coach was at Washington I believe his teams played down to lesser opponents as well and it appears that this team plays down to its opponents. If Oklahoma had been a top 10 team I think Bama may win by two scores which is why this team is so strange this season.

The dirty little secret that NOBODY talks about but EVERYBODY knows about was the USF game last season & WHAT REALLY HAPPENED BEHIND THE SCENES! Milroe was playing horrible so he announced on Monday (the week of the USF game) Milroe wouldn't be starting & Tyler Buckner was going to start. From 4 or 5 people who were actually there, Jalen Milroe didn't exactly take the news very well! Meaning he basically went ballistic, raging, and went off angry while being very disrespectful to staff. The folks inside the loop said that starters for the USF agreed to dawg it as revenge for Saban starting Buckner. O-linemen were heard saying they wasn't going to help Tyler Buckner. It was a culture statement from the players to Coach Saban for benching Milroe! Of course throughout the game Milroe was seen encouraging the other qbs giving them high fives & etc...but it was manufactured for television to cast him in some great light. I've heard from people who are REALLY close to Saban say that incident on top of all the other stuff was why he ultimately retired. He realized after that debacle that with NIL being in play, the PLAYERS have more power than the head coaches now

That was not a Saban coached team in Norman Saturday. Milroe is a very good QB, he had an off night as did his team. If you want to see inexperienced QB's watch OU's play. You will appreciate Milroe after you do that. Alabama has a lot more athletes than Auburn, they will win the iron bowl. Lastly, the SEC is like the NFL. Obviously very important for the entire coaching staff to harshly critique themselves for this loss but/c it obviously was not just losing but the bad way they lost and they were badly outcoached. The staff was way too slow in determining what was going wrong and had no meaningful responses. I think playing tiny Mercer the week prior set the stage. Jalen Milroe set the tone of the game on the very first drive. On second down he had an opportunity to get the first down and possibly much more but he decided to cut right and attempt to run out of bounds setting up a third and 3. On the next play a drop by Ryan and the drive was over. Milroe's leadership was nonexistent. His body language and demeanor was like a pouting child. He should have been benched for sure after he thru the interception and played 2 hand touch on the tackle. I was hoping Simpson would at least get a chance. Pathetic, embarrassing, and no heart displayed by most of the team.

With unregulated NIL it’ll never be the same but hopefully it’ll be a bit better once him and a few others that vouch for him 24/7 no matter what leave. Luke, I am not better today and neither is Alabama. I saw a replay of today's press conferences with the HC and OC's. Let him get his players, his systems, staff, process really ingrained & implemented. We are just a few plays from being a 1 loss team in the top 5 right now! I'm having an argument with a guy on another social media platform, the guy says Alabama should be in the college playoffs and Texas shouldn't be. His reason. Alabama's losses are against SEC teams, which are better than anywhere else in the country. Texas beat weak SEC teams and has a weak schedule. I can't wrap my mind around this logic. Either Vandy and Oklahoma are weak SEC teams who Texas beat and Alabama lost to or they are teams that are better than anywhere else in the country who Texas beat and Alabama lost to. It can't be both a quality loss for Alabama and a weak victory for Texas.

Can’t say I’m disappointed at all, I figured this was a three loss team, although coming from Georgia, Tennessee, and a slip up against an LSU in Baton Rouge. This isn’t DeBoer’s players so it isn’t his team yet. Plus, there will be more transfers out, but countered with transfers in. Will Alabama contend every year, had reality is no. The current landscape of college football doesn’t set up for it, especially in the SEC where every team is better. Sure the Big10plus8 looks nice right now, but they too will cannibalize themselves, but past the top 4 what depth is there.

Inexcusable -- 11 games in and DeBoer's Bama is still "figuring out" their culture? i get it that the staff is not what DeBoer wanted when he was hired and there was portal attrition and DeBoer was hired a bit late in the day to prep for the season due to Saban's surprise retirement -- but to not make adjustments from as far back as the Vandy game that should be made at halftime speaks to a lack of basic compentence and common sense of the coaching staff! I am still waiting for the so called "offensive genius" of DeBoer to materialise. It just seems to me that all an opposing team has to do to beat Bama is to QB run on offense and on defence just spy Milroe and double cover Hollywood and Bama has no plan B. "Hey, it hasn't worked all game but maybe another designed QB run will work this time?" or on D - "hey we're getting toasted by the QB running but let's go for cover 1 bandit again." Sorry but Nick Sheridan and Kane Wommack need to be sent packing! It's like sitting in the back seat at 80 MPH and trusing your Tesla to autopilot you accross country -- foolish at best.

Your right it's not bad.. but it's not the standard either 🤷🏻♂️ we expect better & so does the team.. Milroe & Sheridan need to go & we better keep our 2025 OL, QB & WR class together & keep Haynes & Richard Young & promise them more rushes with milroe leaving.. i don't blame the defense because 1. They lost 2 of the best most important players in 1st quarter. 2. They forced a turnover & played hard. 3. The offense wasn't letting them get off the field just like our other losses & they still held them to 24.. the defense isn't the problem really.. they could be better at stopping the run but aren't bad.. the offense can't sustain drives & give them a break or help them out against good defense.. it's Sheridan, Milroe & the RT
