When you take a big picture view of the season, the entirety of it is really dominated by Plastique. If her lip syncs were stronger she would have likely won the season, which is why it’s so wrong she didn’t make the finale.

I agree 100% with your judging; great job. I'm really mad at the production. They did Angie a disservice by giving her that talent. She deserved to be in the finale and also to win the season based on her overall performance throughout the season.

I do think Plastique would have learned the lyrics to the final lip sync, and honestly, it would have been a really satisfying thing that after a season of failing to win the lip syncs she wins the one that matters most.

angeria 100% deserved the crown, the main issue is really just storyline, people would have always been upset about roxxxy losing, but i feel that the producers just completely failed angeria in the storyline department. it would've been more rewarding seeing roxxxy win in the real version of the season, the narrative the producers were telling us was "roxxxy andrews should win" but for whatever reason the producers didn't make the season seem like it was building to an angeria win.

Angeria was amazing on all stars 9 it’s just the way the season was portrayed it didn’t make sense for her to win at the end. Her talent show was not up to par with everyone else’s and the fact that that took her to the top 3 soured her trajectory.

@@capricorn4990 Objectively, Angie only clearly won the acting challenge. Her other victories are at least debatable because everyone performed exceptionally well. While I believe she did an awesome job in the girl group and roast challenges, in retrospect, the most memorable moments from those challenges were delivered by Plastique and Jorgeous.

Honestly if this was how the season went (even tho i dont agree with all the wins you gave her, like in the Snatch Game. I get your issue with Mik, but i still think Shannel did better than Angie) i dont think it would have been controversial at all. We dont hate Angeria, we love Angeria (like her at worst). I just hated the result bcs there is *no way* she was better than Plastique, Jorgeous and Shannel.

I’m both deeply pro and anti Pal. Firstly, GottMik did way better than I’d anticipated, and I looooved the idea to personify “The Dog Who Played Lassie” as a classic movie star. But. As a classic film buff, I must admit that I wish she had taken the opportunity to make Pal more era specific. Pal played Lassie in the Lassie film serials from 1943-1950, and then on television from 1954-1955. Despite this, Mik dolled her up in a wig and robe that gives me much more of an early 1930’s Joan Crawford vibe - although the hair is somewhere between Hayworth and Bacall - but flatter. She never references the people she worked with in the industry, no shout outs to Harry Cohn or the studio system or her Lassie cast mate Cloris Leachman, who won an Oscar in 1972 (presumably while Pal was not working.) She never invokes the early stigma against television, something stars who transitioned from major motion pictures to television ALWAYS talked about. There were just so many opportunities to really engage with what I think is a truly genius premise. I know it was snatch game, it’s a lot of pressure and you don’t have much time. But I would’ve loved to see her get more specific.

It's crazy how if production didn't mess up with the results the outcome and the pwrdormances would have been the same but would have felt inmensely more fair more satisfying and every plot would havw made sense and redempt every queen's original season (except maybe ninas runway lol)

One thing i can`t wrap my head around is why everyone is judging the VARIETY show as talent show, yes it was talent show in AS2 and then since AS3 it`s a variety, so it`s not about talent it`s about how entertaining you were. Snannel juggling knives was the best TALENT of the night, but the best entertainers were Plastique, Vanjie and Jorgeous for sure So in the talent show Shannel should`ve been top2, but in this challenge she was just a strong incredible high.

As much as I personally hate lipsync smackdown for the crown, I think it would've worked out perfectly this season. Based on the performances throughout the season and without the rigged talent show, the top 4 would've been Roxxxy, Plastique, Angie and Jorgeous. Either way the top 2 would've been Roxxxy and Angie, with Roxxxy possibly winning the final lipsync and snatching the crown.

Entirely agree. Angeria was entirely robbed in her edit. I'm glad you noted that fact because it's true, the two truly most dominant were Angeria and Plastique. Roxxxy was a tad inflated. I would've been okay with Jorgeous in the final 3 though, but any way you slice it, I do think Angeria is the proper winner (unfortunately, you are correct... Plastique was never winning it, and I may very well need to go to therapy over that 😭😭😭)

My final 3 is Roxxxy (4 badges : advert, design, lipsync + one gift), Plastique (7 badges : ball, makeover, advert, roast, design, talent x2) and Shannel (4 badges : roast, lipsync, talent x2). Roxxxy won all of her top 2 lipsyncs, Plastique 1 (after the ball, against Gottmik) and Shannel 2 (against Plastique). Factoring in high placements as well as lipsync performance, I'd give the win to Roxxxy (cause she and Vanjie slayed that last lipsync and gave us Janet while Angie gave us... Angie), but I could understand people giving it to Plastique

i truly don’t understand how yall think plastique wouldve won ALL of those badges and i can only think of one challenge where she was robbed and it was the girl group one. her and jorgeous had the most cohesive looks out of all 8 of them so i agree on that part. but hypothetically, let’s say that the season continued how it did except instead of vanjie and roxxxy winning that challenge, it was jorgeous and plastique. this would’ve put plastique at 4 badges and jorgeous at 3. then, plastique would go on to win her 5th badge in episode 8, while jorgeous would go on to win her fourth and fifth badges during the rusical episode. so THAT would mean that plastique, jorgeous, and angeria would be in the final top 3, so there’s that. but that would still mean that plastique would just have 5 badges. and if you really wanna get into it, if angeria didn’t win the final lipsync, then jorgeous would’ve won the season. plastique would not have won. she also did not win a single lipsync, which probably also brought her down, so she basically was not going to be crowned. and also, she just didn’t win every challenge like some people are saying (she was really only “robbed” in the one i previously mentioned, i assure you), there are other queens who did better than her in a lot of the challenges so angeria winning is definitely one of the best and most reasonable choices

I think plastique should've just won. She had 6 wins, and we know the final lip sync doesn't really matter as Roxxxy did a little better than Angeria in the real season. I think that plastique would obviously learn the words to the final song of the season. I think she has it in her, too, surprise us, a bit like nymphia.

My version with all the twists(this is a novel though be warned) 1.VANJIE vs. Plastique High: Angeria and Jorgeous Blocked: Shannel (Out of everyone,I think Vanjie would choose to block a queen who is very experienced and shannel is the one fitting for that role) 2.GOTTMIK vs. Plastique High: Roxxxy and Shannel Blocked:Nina( Gottmik blocked Angie because she won the first episode, but in this version, Vanjie won, and she wouldn't block Vanjie let's be fr, Plastique can't be blocked so now she needs to choose someone and I think she might choose Nina, because I do think she would choose strategically and snatch game can be any time now) 3.ANGERIA vs. Gottmik High: Shannel and Nina Blocked:Plastique(Now that Angeria wins, I think it's obvious who she will choose , Plastique... I mean sorry, she won 2/3 challenges now...) These were some of your best takes but the only things I'd change: - Jorgeous in the top episode 1 over Angeria...her dancing was fire, she choreographed the whole things, and she probably had the funniet/best talking bit in the perfume runway out of anyone - Vanjie should have been high in the ladies room challenge over Roxxxy...Roxxxy was OK but Vanjie playing into her Vanjir character was hilarious and one of the most memorable imo - Plastique should have been high over Shannel in the Rusical (SUE ME she didn't deserve to win that originally even remotely)

I just want to say, I think both you on this video and (especially) production in the actual season missed a GIANT opportunity to look good on the charity department and also help more, and I'll explain why based on the actual season: Taking the basis of "a top placement = 1 badge", during the season, ELEVEN badges were given away outside of the actual rules, and they were very evenly distributed (Vanjie, Roxxxy, Shannel and Jorgeus got 1 extra badge each due to the "a badge to give away" twist, Vanjie and Angeria both got 2 extra badges for winning the Talent Show, Jorgeus earned one for winning a mini challenge(?) and Nina got 2 for the double diamond thing, leaving Plastique and Mik as the only ones to not earn extra badges). While the season went on giving more and more random badges, it almost felt like, outside from a top 3 placement, they were doing SOMETHING with the badges, and once they announced the double diamond twist it was almost too obvious that the badges had some kind of relevance. Aside from this, 3 queens not getting top placements when they arguably deserved them after being blocked makes me think they wanted to give out ALL possible badges. Where I'm going with this? Well, If I had produced the season, I would've fully not included that stupid final mini where the queens did random stuff to earn extra money, and just CONVERT EACH BADGE TO 5K DOLLARS FOR THE CHARITIES. If they did that, Mik would've gotten 10k, Shannel 15k, Jorgeus/Nina/Plastique 20k, Roxxxy/Vanjie 25k and Angeria 30k EXTRA for their charities. Everyone wins, no one goes home emptyhanded and PLASTIQUE DOESN'T DO A WHOLE SEASON TO EARN BARELY 6K.

I know Angie only getting those two wins feels weird. I like Angeria, I am very happy for her that she won. I just think Angie would have had a much stronger showing on an elimination season, as she was consistently 3rd/4th in my eyes, frequently just missing out on the top 2 position, instead those went to queens with far more tumultuous track records. The non-elimination format sadly means that a Queen who does 3rd best and the queen that bombs down to 8th place are in the exact same position. I don’t think Angie would have been bottom 2 for any challenge this season, but in this format, that means nothing. A queen with 1 win and bombed every other challenge would be better rewarded than a queen that came in 3rd every challenge.

Such as the first episode her verse while very well done didn’t talk about being much of a drag queen saving the world. And having her in the top over Jorgeous who’s verse did fit the save the world theme and also choreographed the number. And giving her the talent show when she clearly showed us she can’t perform in her face. The concept ate but she never performs she stay with her pretty serious dace. And the sabers lasting ten seconds, and her stiff dancing. It was great but looking at angeria, Jorgeous, Shannel, and Angeria we can see they were all well paced and they all actually perform not just serve fish.

Going off of this video and what i would've changed with my opinion; Angeria being top2 in the rumix over jorgeous (her verse was so mid and so much autotune or whatever it was got put in that it sounded so bad to me) Angeria being top2 over mik in snatch game (You mostly go off of laughs here and angeria didn't get as much as Mik, mik also had a risky character that she pulled off flawlessly) I think plastique would've beat jorgeous to the lip sync in ep4, it's not really a song i'd see jorgeous doing well at. I don't think Angeria should've been in the top in the roast, should've been platique and jorgeous. They both had redemptions with their comedy so it felt more fitting. I think Mik or Nina should've been in the top2 over Roxxxy for the design challenge, Roxxxy's makeup looked hideous (imo) and her outfit seemed low effort and not really polished; it looked like a costume she bought in the store lol. Mik had a good design and it worked well it would also make it seem like the snippers had ANY real use this season. And even Nina could've been in the top as a redemption for her sewing skills. Then if I judged the lip sync episode based on the used songs and matches (replacing some); Round1: Gottmik beats shannel Plastique beats vanjie Shannel beats nina Roxxxy beats Jorgeous (I would've liked if Jorgeous did more in this lip sync. We saw Aja hitting something exciting on every drop while Jorgeous only did one trick in comparison, was less thrilling. People say it's an emotional song but it definitely feels more dancey while also showing a good amount of emotion. If you compared the winners to this song both times; You would 100% say Aja beats roxxxy there.) Round2: Shannel beats Plastique (instead of vanjie), I don't think plastique would be able to do much here. Shannel delivered. Roxxxy beats Gottmik (instead of angeria), Again I don't think Mik could do much, Roxxxy embodied it. Then Roxxxy wins obviously, Shannel seemed to have given up at that point. Then the talent show I agree with, Plastique definitely should've had a top2 placement there. Then I'd say anyone between Jorgeous Shannel and Mik would be in the other placement. I don't want to seem like I'm invalidating angeria, like she's a good queen but I just disagree with some of her original placements and the placements in this video. I don't think she did exceptionally well this season so I was completely baffled when they announced that she was progressing to the finale after her incredibly mid talent show and then even more when she won the damn thing. Like ideally the original top3 was completely incorrect, Angeria nor Roxxxy deserved some of their wins and Vanjie did not deserve to win the talent show. The 3 badge twist just ruined everything.. AGAIN. It just ended up completely invalidating the double diamond twist. Like congrats to Angeria I guess.. I don't agree with it whatsoever, they could've at least made it make more sense instead of forcing it last moment; giving her an undeserved win for the +3 badges and then crowning her for whatever reason. Like it seemed predictable that Roxxxy would've won originally, but I unironically would've at least preferred that. These twists recently just aren't satisfying. They set up one of the frontrunners to dominate the season and then just mistreat them at the finale. This happened in season 16 with Nymphia and Sapphira; But I do agree that Nymphia deserved her win. If you go off the final lip sync, which was probably the tiebreaker, Sapphira got obliterated. If you compare that to season 16, Vanjie and Roxxxy did the best in the lip sync while Angeria did the worst.. Yet she won.. :/ I wouldn't be surprised if we see this same twist again in upcoming / ongoing seasons like; Canada vs the world (Lemon will probably take it but there could just be a last minute twist), Global All Stars (Alyssa seems like she's gonna take it, and I really fucking hope she does tho. She deserves her crown.) maybe even season 17 or all stars 10. All of those as main examples, I don't watch international seasons usually. I just started ranting but whatever lol, disagree with me if you like, I'm entitled to my own opinion and so are you.

And her being in the top for a design challenge with that ugly spiky hair she wore earlier in the season and those horrible pink chaps that cut at the ankle. Meanwhile Gottmik is safe with a much cleaner, well constructed look that had a much better concept. It’s no tea, but you do not be making sense my friend.

Also the roast challenge, you cannot seriously put angeria over plastique solely because angerias atomic blonde runway was the worst of the night. And giving her the top placement instead of mik for the music design was craaazy, she wasn’t even 7th best. I do agree angeria did great the season but not better than plastique, probably same level as roxxxy
