I was hooked on aloe vera gel, since last year when I tried it out on my daughter's hair. When I saw her hair growth, that's when I decided to cut my relaxed hair and started my natural hair journey. I use it to detangle, as a leave in conditioner (add castor oil, peppermint and lavender essential oils) also i use it as a deep conditioner with a bonnet hood and hair dryer to create heat. It's amazing. Tnx for sharing.

I have to say, I have Extreme coarse, dry 4C hair and have always argued that mine may be 10C. I have tried all products to retain moisture, until a week ago when I started applying aloe vera juice. I have gone a whole day with moisturised hydrated defined curls. I highly recommend it and this is where I stop my search

Aloe is amazing,I've started using it 2 years ago.pre-poo,my LOC method and as a moisture treatment,my hair is soft thick and moist.I use Aloe along with ACV they are out of this world.Mix it with essential oils but it needs to be kept in the fridge it does go off if you are keep it for more than a week otherwise it is the girl it thinks it is..Love love love it❤❤❤ Khanyi you are doing great my love ...love your work🧡💛

Back in the day (2012 or so) we used to harvest Aloe juice to sell for pharmaceutical export. 500 liters at a time, all sourced in the Ngqushwa rural area. People really believe in this product, one of our big problems was how much it would get stolen from storage :(

My aloe vera is so slimy and I don't have any pulp after blending it🤔🤷🏽‍♀️ I don't use it as a daily leave in cause my hair doesn't like it... But I do use it as a prepoo/hair treatment. I mix my aloe vera with tea tree oil, coconut oil and honey before I do my regular wash, and my hair love it that way.

Hey yes! thank you for asking this. wrap the end with foil or cling wrap and keep the leave in the fridge. Same applies for the bottle just keep it in the fridge.

Good thing yours is in your backyard so you don't have people like me stealing it. Aloe is actually everywhere here in Mzansi, I've been using it for my skin and hair for YEARS. I just break off a leaf from different neighbours whenever I need it 😂🙈 sooooo many of my neighbors have it so I just steal it when no one is watching 🤷‍♀️🤭 I love the stuff 👌
