You won’t be disappointed! I have been absolutely abusing my skids (there isn’t a square inch free of gouges) for the past 4 years. They’ve seen dirt and rocks in 22 states and they still come off and go right back on easily. And The fact that they are running 20% off certainly doesn’t hurt!!

OK, Off subject. Gonna build a Dodge. And, you have a budget. "IF" someone loaned you a stet of oneton 60'"13" bolt axles, built with trusses, Chromo axles, super joints, Solid knuckles, 4:56 gears with Detroits. Aluminum links With a front PCS full hydro set up. Would this go against your budget?

Growth has been steady at 3-4K subscribers per month. But, focusing on subscribers is one of the biggest mistakes a KZbinr can make. That number means nothing really. Only views and watch time matter. As long as those are trending the right direction, slow and steady/sustainable growth is all that matters 😊

Only 2 welders? Wow big kudos to those guys. As a welder I know how much work it can be, those 2 guys doing everything is incredible. I couldn’t imagine only having 2 welders in a shop.. we have at least 6 per shift plus guys manning the robots.

I like artec stuff especially their axle brackets and whatnot. I do have aftermarket axles but I still have artec bracketry and miscellaneous parts around my jeep. It just seems like good stuff especially compared to some other companies. It can be hard to find good parts nowadays sometimes i find myself buying 2 or 3 of the same thing trying to find good stuff so i try to stick with companies ive used and know make quality stuff even if it costs more money. Ive also found that not everything thats more expensive is better people can ask whatever they want and you really cant go by cost anymore.

It’s truly hard to balance the on-road and federal requirements with mass producing a true offroad vehicle. It’s still the best offroad vehicle you can buy and take it straight from the show room floor to some fairly tough trails (obviously not the rock trails I hit with MM). If I had to choose a vehicle for an unknown path through unknown terrain, there really isn’t 1 other brand new vehicle I would choose for the challenge.

I've been using 6061 T6 aluminum for skidplates since my 1st offroad car in the early 1970s. Over 50 years now. I use it on my Baja Bugs, my offroad race dune buggy, my desert race dirt bikes and even my Toyota pickup. As a professional fabricator, I used it on more customer cars than I could think of. Some of my customers have won their categories in the Baja 1000, from buggies and Baja to 4x4s, with my aluminum skidplates protecting their undersides. He's right. It's important to choose the correct aluminum alloy. 2024, 3003 and 5052 are all way too soft for skidplates. 7075 is harder, but cracks easily and is considered non-weldable. Around offroading I've encountered lots of people who use far thicker plate under their vehicles than I do. Then they complain that their plates get all gouged up. That's because they don't use the right alloy.

honcho was a j truck not a gladiator. also toyota copied jeeps stripes, they copied the j trucks,full size cherokee sportsmans and cj stripes when they first added stripes to their 60 series.

We always try use domestic material when possible. We always spec out material when we receive it and if it doesn't meet our requirements for quality, we return it.
