@@jauger99 Setup a few scanners to catch the entire frequency. Use tiny direction dishes and use scanners in tiny boom tubes that are highly directional. Using a scanner in a boom tube is the most accurate way to find what direction some signal is from. Obvious things to notice also that Japanese are complaining about is all the chinese buildings being built around or near USA bases in japan. They noticed they all have transceivers on the roof tops. So I can see this happening to Japan very soon. Have to role play this out for all possible events. One of them is maybe this is not from an outside source.

If true, it does fit a pattern of special weapons testing on enemies such as (strontium, novichok), the question is however, if not the revelation of an unknown weapon is a maskirovka, drawing attention away and shielding some other, more long-term operation from discovery. I just read The New Yorker article - although I want to believe the medical "experts" who evaluated the patients, and the seriousness of these claims, its just too strange and too vague... Some people heard a sound, some didn't. I just can't jump on the bandwagon of this "mystery maybe-sonic-maybe-not weapon or wave. The effects were among a group of people at a time during a huge political shift. I think it's likely that it's a combination of similar symptoms from something that may be viral or environmental, political angles, paranoia, and mass hysteria. It's odd but I am not convinced that it's an unknown targeted weapon that leaves no trace. If you believe otherwise I would like to hear more

This was a kind of "slow burn" stealth attack using some form of wave technology. It would have been a perfect crime except for the fact it was used too widely and too often on a very limited (i.e. targeted) group. This caused undeniable physical damage in this group that is able to be seen in CAT scans. Cuba can claim "hysteria" as it's laughable. This was real and it was used for breaking down the new detente that, apparently, powerful Cuban insiders were opposed to. The sad thing imany of the victims are faced with health problems that are permanent. Was the attack device sourced from Russia? That's a big question and easy answer since Cuba has no great technologies in this area while Russia absolutely does.

What if the "sound" was not actually the attack. It has been pointed out that the sound could very easily be a byproduct of other frequencies (possibly very high frequencies). There are many ways to infiltrate the human body and impair the mind. Many people don't realize how important the gut (and other areas) is with respect to neurological and cognitive function. To me the gut seems like the easiest way to target a specific group. If a catalyst is introduced that makes the neurons in the gut vulnerable to certain frequencies then an attack could in fact occur to specific individual at a much elevated level. The catalyst could come in the form of any kind of intake to the digestive system (food, water, medications, etc..) Since there is such a large number of neurons in that location, and those neurons are directly interconnected to the rest of the neurological system (including the brain) then this attack on one area (the gut) could impair the entire cognitive system. And it is a very real possibility to penetrate walls with higher frequencies - 700MHz range is used by cellular and other technologies in consumer use for that very reason. If this were the case then the next questions would be: Who would have access to the technology to create such an affect and why would it be done in this geographical area? These sounds occurred at multiple locations and this rules out randomness.

This is a poorly reported story. Cuban and Russian intelligence work side by side, and have for the last 70 years long before the USSR's fall. The same phenomenon that US Diplomats were describing in Cuba is the same that the Soviets did to Moscow Station workers at CIA and NSA, and the US Embassy in the 60s and 70s. The weapon the Cubans got isn't one they developed, it's one that was given to them by Moscow. This occurred because Russia sees Cuba as its sphere of influence, and US relations improving with Cuba cuts into their territory. NYT should have done a better job.

Excuse me, there were people, more than 20 of them, that had BRAIN INJURIES!!! Is NYTimes saying that they don't exist? And if they dig a tunnel under the embassy and blast the sound to the building, no one would notice. People can build subway tunnels, why can't they build a small tunnel for some sound devices? It can be done with a simple robot in a month. And FYI, when a sound is of very high frequency, human ears don't hear it, you may near just the lower frequency part of the sound but not the major part of it, and a sound capturing device would not capture it because most recorders are for human voice and music, which make sounds within the spectrum that human ears can hears. So if a sound has a very high frequency, it can be very very "loud" but you cannot hear it. The sound wave can have the magnitude same to what can be produced by a giant speaker right next to your ear, but you still cannot hear it, just because it's very high frequency. Think about radiation; X-ray or Gamma-ray radiation has a higher frequency than visible spectrum of light so you cannot SEE them, but does it mean that X ray doesn't exist or that it cannot hurt you?
