Capcom Pro Tour 2024 is underway, and the US East region is more stacked than ever. With players like Nuckledu, Punk, MenaRD, iDom, and Sayff in competition for 2 spots, things are shaken up after the 2nd qualifier by a relatively unknown player.

@@Jay_Playz2019 lol how? Diamond is easy. Gold and silver players only want to do abilities and jump. Just lab anti air button and use your 8 or 9 frame kick and punch button.. sweep them and watch out for drive impact ... Thats all you need bro... You will be in Diamond... Thats where you need to learn combos.. mostly hit confirms... Into drive rush or combo's or supers. Then you can get masters. I play with the health bar off... I dont want to know if im low or not.. i just play until someone dies. Its fun that way lol... Good luck keep practicing. Lab lab lab

@@Plantidsif you truly want it explained which will really make it not possible of being funny to you is that he has an absurd amount of tabs open and the sheer absurdity of it can make it humorous. It’s like seeing an object that is normally small be abnormally large, like a spoon
@Brian_F

@MFGeedorah47 i think the comments are always weird because i go through each tab one by one every single video, it takes two tab clicks to realize it's a slideshow that was planned ahead
@Plantids
@Plantids Ай бұрын
@@MFGeedorah47 I don’t see why it’s an absurd amount of tabs considering we can see him clicking though them as he’s talking. I just see it like he’s doing a slideshow but instead of slides he has tabs that he’s prepared beforehand. It’d be even more absurd if he had to search out the clips he’s using in real-time as he was doing his presentation. Is a serving spoon funny because it’s large even though we know why it’s bigger than other spoons?

What Booce said really hit me hard, ever since I started focusing on competing I've enjoying the game less and less and tying a lot of my self worth to the fact that I keep losing. I struggle a lot with depression and anxiety already and that shit doesn't help at all. I have to really recontextualize my approach to the game and balancing my enjoyment and also striving to get better.
@mikep4957
@mikep4957 Ай бұрын
Def don't tie your self worth to losing in a game broseph. I would just focus on having fun, and play a ton, and when you are legit nasty and playing top tier players - then maybe worry about competing. I think the enjoyment and getting better will go hand in hand, whereas being frustrated, you'll just not want to play at all.
@pedroscoponi4905
@pedroscoponi4905 Ай бұрын
Good luck with the mental, stranger. It's hard to find that fine line between attachment and detachment but it's a mental state worth striving towards. Don't forget the reason you want to compete and get better is, first and foremost, because self-improvement is a source of joy. The self-worth part is something we've been taught to expect from it, but it's secondary!

Good job planning this whole presentation out with all the tabs, while also speaking your mind instead of following a rigid script. Great way to present the events that transponed, but also the whole story and background that we dont get to see by just watching the matches. Now about the content itself, its great to see a new player getting a win in such a stacked event. Amazing run. And its also super nice seeing him working out his inner demons as he grows as a competitor.

0:15 Because Capcom eliminated LCQ, there's nothing left to legitimize that event as anything more than the gathering of people who won their respective geographical lotteries. To say Capcom Cup has any meaningful legitimacy as the culmination of the CPT is to loudly state that you believe Japan only possesses two of the entire world's top players. *EVO* is going to be the CPT's climax. And if Capcom Cup doesn't do something to change the state of things, *EVO* will _remain_ the CPT's climax.
@beam5655
@beam5655 Ай бұрын
I agree that regions are not fairly balanced at all, but at least this time there are 10 premier spots, so there should be good representation of Japan's top players. Evo is still king though, although sadly the prize money is miniscule in comparison.
