How and When to use Diclofenac? (Voltaren, Cataflam, Cambia, Zorvolex)

I was prescribed these for my gout problems. I was given 100mg Prolonged Release Tablets. I'm surprised how fast they work. And that's a very good think if you have ever experienced gout. (interesting point - I was prescribed Indomethacin first and I could take them till they were coming out my ears with NO affect. I take one of these Diclofenac and in 30 min. I'm considerably better off). So happy my doctor had me try this.

Diclofenac works as a painkiller, with just minor anti-inflammatory effects. Keeping the wound clean, and out of bath water the first two weeks will further help you to prevent an infection. If you experience increasing redness, swelling, fever, or pain than always contact your phycisian.

Hi Had It All, Diclofenac can be used for most forms of pain. So indeed, it is also often used/prescribed for back aches.

Diclofenac sodium Misoprostol gave me a serious side effect of menstrual cramps and vaginal bleeding. I had to go to the ER and the doctors there didn't know what it was. I had to figure it out myself.

I’m currently on warfarin and get my blood tested every week or every 2 weeks. The doctor or nurse that does my test and makes sure I’m doing okay told me I can take it but she might just have to adjust my dosage of warfarin. I’ve noticed she says that a lot with other things I’ve asked about in the past. She originally told me that she doesn’t want me to change my lifestyle for example I can eat greens. She said she will just adjust my dose.
