Today it's cold and raining in Sweden. I want to go back to Egypt!

It gets pretty hot for 6 months of the year. I live in a Mediterranean city. This place was between 30-35 C 2 days ago. However, this place is relatively warm. Because the neighboring city almost saw 40-45 C in July and August. Probably Egypt is much warmer. You might want to think again later. 😅

@@doguskoyuncu5177 I think it's different if you live in a hot place, or up here in the cold north. I've been to Egypt in July/August a couple of times, and Italy and Malta etc as well. I love 30-40 degrees! But it would probably suck to have it that warm all the time...

@@ThreeStarVagabond Yes. Sometimes, I am feeling like staying in Tatooine ( desert planet of Star Wars). However, I understand you. It could be quite difficult to live in the North during winter. Long dark winter nights, heavy snow masses around the roads and extreme temperature drops. I think it is not for everyone to enjoy it.

@@doguskoyuncu5177 Exactly! I hear that people tend to think that their own weather is the worst generally...

@@ThreeStarVagabond Probably, many people from hot countries think want to live in cold countries, and the same as the opposite for the people of cold countries. However, I think it doesn't matter at all. I know, lot of people from cold countries are living here and they really like it. But my favorite is milder temperatures partly cloudy and a bit windy air. I am calling it as " atmospheric pleasure". :D

That's great to hear! And I'm a bit jealous since I'm stuck in cold Sweden right now, and I'll have to wait a while until I can dive again... Hope you'll have a blast :D

Incredible. The images in the underwater shots are very vivid. I didn't know there was such biodiversity in the Red Sea. Thanks for sharing such events. I hope you didn't get hurt by a lionfish. See you on your next adventure.

Thank you so much! The Red Sea is actually quite amazing for diving - good corals, lots of marine life, lots of wrecks, and good weather year round. No worries - the lionfish were just chill and nice. Cheers! :D

Thanks for bringing back some nice memories with your vid. Hope you will have some more amazing dives. Ever since my son was born, I haven't been diving (although it's one of the safer sports you can enjoy) and I do miss it. I made my OWD at Makadi Bay and the Red Sea is a good spot to start. My wife encountered a turtle face-to-face on her first (test) dive, but unfortunately she was not excited rather than terrified by that. A bit of a shame. Would have to look through my log book for the worst experience of almost 100 dives, but the night dive with all the lion fish around me as soon as uncovered the torch really had some "I Am Legend" movie feel to it.
@ThreeStarVagabond
@ThreeStarVagabond Жыл бұрын
That sounds awesome! I can imagine the brown wetsuit time when the torch comes on again in that situation. My ex wife is the one who got me to dive and her first dive she saw a seahorse. But she was completely unimpressed. "Whatever, just a seahorse. But look at this, I saw a Nemo as well!"

@@ThreeStarVagabond Keep up the great work you do on youtube :) I totally get that, I live in Germany and I am coming from sunny Romania, so it's hard not to talk about the weather here! I do want to say that the little I've seen of Sweden was absolutely insane from an aesthetic and architectural point of view! Please do keep making these videos, it was super informative to me. I hope I will see dolphins as well! :)

@@astrofireball Thank you, I will do my best to keep making hopefully interesting videos :) Romania has such lovely weather! I can imagine that it's quite a difference living in Germany compared to it. But yeah, I do love many parts about Sweden - such as the scenery and all the nature. But there are many negative things as well (as with all countries!)

@ThreeStarVagabond
@ThreeStarVagabond Жыл бұрын
@@phil9760 The diving was really nice! It's not the best in the Red Sea, but there's a bit of everything around Hurghada (including a few wrecks). But the best wrecks are up in Straits of Tiran, and the bigger fish are down south by Brothers & St John. But then you have to take a full week instead for either location.
@phil9760
@phil9760 Жыл бұрын
@@ThreeStarVagabond Yeah i've been on a liveaboard In the south, but to be honest there was almost no bigfish. I think in summer its just to hot for them in the shallow water haha... Well if there are some nice Wrecks, healthy corals and good visibility - i'm happy. Do you think i will be happy then? 😂
@ThreeStarVagabond
@ThreeStarVagabond Жыл бұрын
@@phil9760 Oh yeah good point! I want warm water myself so I guess I miss the best times of year... But yeah I think so! I mean, Coron in the Philippines is better for wrecks, and Komodo in Indonesia is better for corals... But it was good, and I was satisfied :D
