I remember the old "money man"; he would stand on the side of the road with a clear plastic box full of money to do currency exchange. When I asked how he could do that without being robbed, I was told that if anyone did that, they would be dead within the minute because thievery is not tolerated in Afghanistan. Gained even more respect for the Afghan people and culture after that. Just one of many examples of how honorable these people are.

They aren’t fully automatic firearms. During everyshop he visited they were all shotguns and air guns. Even the “military” looking ones were in fact semi auto shotguns. And the gun shop owners said you need a license to purchase. You can look and touch but you cannot own unless you have one.
