Wait until you find out that there was once a river that ran down from Canada to Southern California that created a giant lake. They rerouted this water “to protect” a certain species of fish. The water has been flowing out into the ocean my whole life, and after they rerouted the water, this beautiful lake dried up.

It's interesting to see how pistachios are grown and harvested! From caring for plants in arid conditions to using modern machinery to harvest, it all requires thoroughness and high technology. Looking at the pistachio fields and the processing process is really impressive.

Pistachios have been cultivated in Iran for thousands of years, making the country one of the earliest and most significant producers. Iranian pistachios, such as Kerman, Akbari, and Ahmad Aghaei, are highly prized for their taste and texture.

Instead of growing grids of Pistachios and other orchard trees, would creating hexagons lay out as the tree as a center piece for a symbiotic multifaceted biome area, work? Could it be feasible?
@ISureDont7 ай бұрын
With fungi mycelium typically growing in fractals this could have an effect but i think youd have to try it to see
@kiwigarden20243 ай бұрын
Feasibility would depend on the specifics, but it's definitely a concept worth exploring!
@kinngrimm2 ай бұрын
symbioses with what? fungi as mentioned need always be considered i assume, but i assume you imply other plants that produce fruits/crops and would benefit from Pistachio trees and vice versa. Maybe one could try to inoculate the roots with black truffels and then have a pig farm, using their manour for the trees and but also themselves to find the truffles =)

Song of Solomon 6:11 KJV I went down into the garden of nuts to see the fruits of the valley, and to see whether the vine flourished, and the pomegranates budded. This video shows how much care and work goes into such a crop as this. The husbandman can not be slack in his work. It reminds me of the scripture... James 5:7 KJV Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. There is always a scripture tie in to what God created...how can people believe evolution? How would this tree even survive without man cultivating and keeping it (as it was Adam's job to keep the garden of Eden (Genesis 2:15))??

Expensive crop. Lots of water, land and fertilizers. Pesticides. Miles of monoculture.
@richardyoung87128 күн бұрын
In this video he talks about how Pistachio crops are produced from the type of soil required, 2nd preparing the soil for the seedlings, irrigation systems, but one person commented that the price from the farmers, throughout the whole process, until it goes to the consumer, is rather very expensive, that's why I go to COSTCO, because of there bulk buying power, then they lower the price for the average American person, but I really enjoy those nuts, more than any other nut,but the key is to hunt down the best deal, or ask people, who enjoy nuts, as a snack, I do, and not your typical peanut, maybe cashews, walnuts, filberts,or go to your nearest 99$ cent store, or FAMILY DOLLAR, DOLLAR TREE,WAL-MART,but avoid nut stores, because they will RIP YOU OFF,as they don't care, you do as a consumer.

Be careful -itchy, scratchy throat while eating something can mean you might be having the start of an allergic reaction/ sensitivity. After my throat started closing eating a bit of chili -so scary-dr wrote me a prescription to carry an EpiPen. It also happens with sweet peppers, black pepper and Capsaicin pain liniment. My friend has a problem with mangoes and cashews, which are in the poison ivy family…throat scratchy, and with mangoes theskin outside her mouth gets red and itchy. 🌿
