Thank goodness for characters like Xiao and Miko and Yelan and Yoimiya and Diluc. Building a character that doesn’t have crit rate as an ascension stat is just painful if you’re as good as I am at dodging good crit rolls. Xlice, you should do one of these for people with bad luck. There are some truly, truly awful artifacts out there (I should know, I have half of them) and it would be fun to do a “bad artifact” showcase. I’m talking a full set of Heart of Depths that rolled into nothing but flat def. Truly impressive stuff, my guy.

While a lot of these builds are very impressive from a crit perspective and Xlice does give a lot of good advice, I did disagree on several things and builds. Note this is just me rambling lmao At 22:06, I think that Xiao mask is legitimately pretty good, 19.2% ATK is 4 max roll attack and they have a crit rate on top of it and also some flat atk. While technically it could be better, I think it would be deceivingly difficult to actually get a circlet to beat that. Xiao doesn't use Bennett in many of his teams and so atk retains very high value even at 2.7k atk like this Xiao has. The Ayaka build at 20:08, if they run Rosaria as a second cryo unit which is very common for those who don't use Shenhe or Ganyu, then that crit rate is perfect. If they run Venti, then I think the ER is fine as well. Generally though, I feel like almost all of these builds neglected ER too much in order to try to hit max crit value. At such high investment, more offensive stats will not really improve damage as much percentage-wise, and I feel that almost all of the builds could probably achieve better performance if they dropped even 20 CV in favor of 4-5 ER subs. ER is vitally important and if you don't meet those breakpoint thresholds you'll inevitably extend your rotation which is so much more DPS lost then what you gain through more crit subs. The best examples are Xiao, Ayaka, Eula, and Itto. These are four characters that are all burst-based and have ER reqs of around 130-140 in order to have smooth 20 second rotations. Essentially not a single of these four characters showcased in this video actually reached those breakpoints, meaning in actual combat they are prone to rotation extension. A more tame build with around 200 CV but with adequate ER subs will likely outperform these builds in extended runs. Even the Yelan showcased at 24:45, even with so much ER from subs, will likely have energy issues in almost every use case. Yelan ER requirements are some of the highest of any character without the use of Fav Bow. If used Solo, she will often need upwards of 250 ER. Even in double hydro, she will need around 200 ER in order to function properly. And even in Raiden teams, she needs 190 ER. Unfortunately this means that it is essentially never viable to run HP sands with Aqua as it is essentially impossible to get 100 ER from subs (or at least even if it was it would be impossible for it to beat an ER sands with more balanced subs). I feel like a lot of people will watch this video and think that ER is going to be secondary to crit and other offensive subs, whereas in reality you almost always want to reach ER breakpoints before investing heavily into offensive subs. A Xiao with 130 ER and 200 CV will feel much smoother to play and also offer better long-term damage when compared to a 100 ER, 250 CV Xiao. And for characters like Yelan who don't have easy funneling opportunities, reaching those ER breakpoints becomes even more critical. People also severely underestimate how much ER you need on off-field supports like Yelan and Kazuha, more often then not you need 200+ ER if you don't use a fav weapon.

Basically, this is a video about people winning by going all-in in Poker, but it doesn't teach you how to play.

I have a challenge / video idea for you, i don’t know what to actually call it but for now I’ll just call it the super smash bros nuzlocke. It’s quite simple honestly, you start a boss rush with only 1 base character (traveler, Lisa, amber or kaeya) You can start with any boss you’d like. No food allowed though Now here is where it gets interesting I think If you kill the first boss for example pyro regisvine you are allowed to pick another character you can play However this character can only be the element of the boss you just killed ( pyro = hu Tao, yoimiya etc) If any character you choose dies you cant use it anymore And the character you previously used to kill the pyro regisvine can no longer be used. I just made this challenge up in my head you can add anything you’d like to it.

That noelle glad set is pretty cracked... i had never even seen a 40+ crit damage piece before. that's insane! But upon closer inspection, my bolide has probably better substats at +81% crit rate, +69 crit damage and +804 defense (the latter being what tips this in my favor cuz crit value is a little lower, and def has more value to me than him since i have redhorn). Idk why he doesn't doublecrown her though. Totally should. it's a waste leaving such a strong character half-assed like that.

someone explain to me his counting on artifacts. at 7:21 he called an artifact, nearly a 40 with a dead defense roll. but if you count the crit value its only 26% roughly, the other stat is an HP stat at 5% where did he get 40 from? because if its crit value, i'm highly doubting his counting ability. he's done it many times throughout the whole video. i get hes rounding and trying to be quick about it, but theres a difference between being a couple numbers off and being 15-20 numbers off.

you did the equation is in the description wrong, you forgot to multiply the crit rate by 2. it should be 12.8*2 +14.8 = 40.4; so 40 crit value with a dead def roll. check your math

Game has given me 6 1.5 builds but no single artifact over 44CV. Actually ok with that tho as I can play and tune ER for all my main carries without ever swapping artifacts. Never feeding mid level artifacts has slowed me down a bit but having gear on every character feels like a luxury. Would be neat to do an overall artifact rating test with use submitted artifact.good files like that Raiden one from a few months ago but instead of a single build its overall quality of all your 20 pieces.

The highest stats I've been able to get is 28% crit damage on a flower and 14% crit rate on a another flower artifact. I need to main one character for a while to min max but I've been gone so long I came back and there's like 20 characters I've never seen 🤩 so artifact farming is all over the place lol

​@@1xlina from what I tested using genshin optimizer and copying the build showed here and just swapping the crit dmg main stat for atk% main stat and giving the same substat rolls in place of hp for crit dmg instead/ in most cases the atk hat(if keeping the same crit rate) actually won out. not by a large margin but it is better. the breakpoint being if u have a shenhe/bennett levels of extra atk buff or not basically, and since they don't have a shenhe in their character showcase thing we can't tell of course if they have her. so i tried a lot of combinations from very f2p to low spender. (in all the tests I just tossed kokomi in as the ttds/tenacity holder, and have fav lance on shenhe with crowned E though lvl9 E would actually increase the % by which atk beats out crit dmg hat/decrease the % by which crit dmg beats out atk hat) also these were in regards to ayaka's burst cutting dmg value: diona+sucrose atk wins by about 2.9% diona+kazuha atk wins by about 2.9% shenhe+sucrose crit dmg wins by about 1.9% shenhe+kazuha crit dmg wins by about 1.9% now if he does have a shenhe and the shenhe has calamity queller or a higher base atk weapon, or they have freedom buffer(like kazu with freedom or venti with elegy), then yes the gap becomes wider in crit dmg favor. without shenhe, just ttds+tenacity+nobleese isn't enough to make the crit dmg hat better, and if you aren't using a tenacity user(like if ur running yelan/xinqiu etc) then atk hat becomes even more valuable. also there's no guarentee that he gets as much crit rate on his new atk hat as his current crit dmg hat, which would make atk even more value again as having lower crit rate means your attacks have more chances to have your crit dmg be applied as 0%(since u didn't crit) meaning all that inflated crit dmg goes to waste on a non-crit but atk is still useful on non-crits. thanks for coming to my tedtalk and I pray i calced everything right else i look like an idiot lol

@@1xlina that's why I hate crit value. In case of Ayaka with mistsplitter and Kazuha, you have so many dmg bonuses, that you may reach diminishing returns on your crit damage. In my case, switching crit dmg circlet with 8.2% atk to atk circlet with 17.9% crit dmg gave me about 2% damage increase, although I have in my team NO, TotM and TTDS users. This gap could be even wider if I had goblet with higher crit dmg (now mine gives me 7% crit dmg and 15.2% atk).
