A fascinating video. One of our local bike shops sells a lot of Enigma bikes. I have seen many of them around Plymouth and they look stunning. I ride a Cove Hummer mountain bike. I hope, and am pretty confident, that Lynskey take the same amount of care over the production of their frames for Cove. I certainly love and cherish my Hum-dinger.

I'd love to own a Ti bike. That was an interesting video to watch. I've always wondered though why Ti tubing only comes in round shapes. Even aluminum can be made into various different shaped tubes

Several companies make other than round tubes Litespeed, seven., my Lynskey Helix is anything but round :)

Right now you can order a Lynskey R150 Limited Edition with 105 Groupset (except wheels) lynskeyperformance.com/r150-le-shimano-105/ I ordered mine and still waiting for it to be shipped. Or you can check eBay website of Lynskey, they have a good clearance of Ti frames.

Thanks MegaXtc11 but for us in the EU zone import a bike from US has alot of additional fees and doesent worth it. Enigma has also a Summer offer with Echo 105 on £2150 www.enigmabikes.com/shop/enigma-offers/ But i mlooking for something upgrated. Strangely Dolan and Planet X have excelent setups on the same money and they make you wonder...

I understand your pain, actually I don't live in the US but have relatives there so I can make ship the bike there and then retrieve it later. I think definitely a Titanium bike or a high end chromoly frame is the way to go in terms of durability, comfort. Hope you can get yours soon

It's better than mono carbon frame

They should be welded inside an oxygen purged, argon only environment. Contamination is way more manageable welding in a purge chamber.

I've read it's not needed when the material is thin. Hence why all of the ti framebuilders only purge the back side (as seen in the video).

Correct, a chamber is not needed, it's a waste of gas. Those are really nice frames.

my titanium frame has been welded in a belgian purge chamber and then they smoothed the welding lines. Rode the best steel frames from italy as a licensed rider,but titanium is a perfect material to build a bike. When i ride my 16 year old bike it feels exactly like the first time,the frame takes all the wholes and bumps and rolls nicely over the cobblestones! Who needs carbon?!

Titanium will always be much better than carbon fiber. I lost my love from carbon fiber bicycles when I saw a vid of s-works venge sagan edition broke into two, surely man made materials can't be greater than God's pure unmatchable materials.
