I have been seeing an Iraqi-American for a while now, and compared to other languages it’s seemed pretty inaccessible to learn, a bit daunting to even know where to start as a Californian. These videos have been so amazing, I keep rewatching them and practicing and I feel like I’m actually learning, and getting some great context to build on. This morning I surprised him with sabah el 5eer and he laughed and asked me how come my pronunciation was so good! He said I must be secretly seeing another iraqi!
