As a padel lover who has no idea about Spanish language , one thing I'll really appreciate if you can create for us : what coaches are saying to players on the bench ? it helps to understand game situation very well.

In the last match at least, on the Spanish bench the strategy was to attack Augsburger with the volley, they said: "he can't return two volleys in a row" then when that didn't work they went for Tino but Tino was in God mode, they couldn't find an answer in the end. On the Argentine bench the couch told them a hundred times to stop trying to finish every play in two strikes, to play more Padel, more volume, to make Paco move but they didn't listen too much 🤣 I guess it's not in their DNA to play slow.

@@airixxxx Thanks ))) . commentator also said that Spanish court is saying Paco that slow down the balls but sometimes he couldn't

in the English commentary in redbull tv, they would actually translate most of it for this word cup. For the premier padel tournaments, I don't think so.

One thing I noticed on the final match. When Leo was injured, Paquito and Mike tried to play most balls against Tino, especially the ones that needed him to run to get to. Huge respect to those two players and I have to say how much I resented the speaker who kept on "advising" them to attack the injured player...

I noticed something in the match between Lebron/Galan and Chingotto/Tapia. When the ball fell out of Lebron’s pocket, if you look closely, he actually took it out on purpose and let it drop to force a replay of the point. This kind of behavior is unacceptable.
@SuperMarat10Ай бұрын
What about a fallen ball from Lebron’s pocket, was it intentional? 😮
@RelyfewАй бұрын
Lol the Lebron haters trying to stir things up. You can see the ball almost falling out of his pocket after his smash, and he is trying to keep it from falling out
@ThaMrLimitzАй бұрын
@SuperMarat10 Lol it was absolutely not intentional.

What does super prebis/pebis mean that he keeps saying about stupa and di nenno?
@Pallotykki77Ай бұрын
Their nickname, superpibes. Like superkids I guess.
@airixxxxАй бұрын
Pibes = kids in Argentine slang. They play since juniors together and won everything in juniors, were unbeatable. I think their parents made a Facebook group called the Superpibes and the nickname took off.

"world cup"... In reality, the world cup is in essence an eternal match between Spain and Argentina. Just like 'korfbal' always is Belgium vs Netherlands for decaded. Cool matches in any case, miles beyond any other country skill level!
@airixxxxАй бұрын
It's the same in every sport, in Basketball you know USA will win, in Football only five countries really compete for the title, in Padel there's two, but we hope in the not so distant future more countries will have players in the top 15. Hey this year Portugal won a set against Argentina, something that seemed impossible.
@DioBrandotw1Ай бұрын
@@airixxxx actually very true, other countries level is increasing rapidly year after year too

@@DioBrandotw1 I assume it will still be a while though... That is until the first generation of kids in other countries that are now getting private padel training all week long grow up ;-)

It's a bit of a joke that both teams are celebrating like they are champions after winning one set. Where is the respect to the opposition? Younger generations these days are just different 😔. Spain started it and Argentina followed. They just look silly now after losing.
