I have played around with nightcafe and it has actually encouraged me to get back into drawing and I was able to come up with really crazy stuff. I would never believe that i produce the AI art but it certainly helps with brain storming. Some of the images I would never think up its madness I love it.

I think alot of artists are upset because the AI is scraping there work without payment and permission and haven’t there livelihood used against them. I am also an artist and I don’t have an issue with the AI but the unethical training and scraping of others work and personal data. There needs to be laws in place to protect peoples work and privet information.

AI is going to make the world a bit more interesting, I feel about as much if not more than the internet did. The virtual worlds are going to be the concern.

As a working artist I'm embarrassed at how many of my peers are trying to gatekeep art. They think AI art is too easy so shouldn't be called art, but I don't see any of them protesting outside galleries because they spent tens of thousands of dollars on a canvas painted white, or just has a simple brush stroke of colour on it. In fact, my best selling paintings are painted in less than ten minutes, and the ones I spend days on barely move. They're priced similarly. Are the critics going to call my customers stupid because they buy what they like, rather than counting brush strokes. Are they really going to judge art by time, brush strokes, or skill. If so, they need to look at themselves. As an artist, I have no problem with AI art.

Style cannot be copyrighted because it is considered a personal expression that cannot be legally owned. Copyright law protects specific expressions of ideas but does not protect the ideas themselves or how they are expressed. In the case of style, it is a form of self-expression that cannot be claimed by anyone else as their own. Additionally, style is often subjective and can be influenced by various factors, making it difficult to determine what constitutes a unique style that could be protected under copyright law.
